What I like about D/M is that it can bring teh crack!lolz as much as teh ANGST and teh hawts. The history between them in the show is enough to give them credibility to me (but I'm batchip about them since it's my OTP :D)

If you're looking for a really good fic you should begin with the New Dawn Fades series by omphalos, which would definitely help you taking the pairing more seriously I think :)
