House & Merlin : your weekly slash providers

I became bored of the central column disposition of my layout so I ended up doing a complete makeover.
I aimed for something a bit more classier and autumnal.
I still love my british fandoms to death but I hadn't done proper justice to my epic love for House yet (the quotes I used for the header are all from that blessed 5x04 <3).

In other news I watched Merlin 105 and it was *so* lovely! It's improving every week and getting slashier and slashier by the minute !

But most of all, let me tell you about MAH GIGANTIC CRUSH ON ARTHUR PENDRAGON.


I wasn't prepared for leader!Arthur ! HE WAS SO CONFIDENT AND MANLY AND DOMINANT AND ROYAL AND AZDKASDASDMJ.
Also this week saw the return of the infamous Dungeon Shirt and the Sexual Magnetism of the Blond Chest Hair. I expired of squee so violently that I almost chocked on my giggles.
More seriously, Bradley James does such a good job at playing a convincing Arthur. He's a great actor with tons of charisma. Of course the fact that he's also drop dead gorgeous doesn't hurt either *____*

Merlin was his adorkable self. I ADORED the moment when he did the thumbs up to Lancelot after Arthur told him to clean up the stables.
I loved how both Merlin and Arthur's relationships with Lancelot played out and how it increased the slash by 1000%, which was rather impressive !
My two favourite slashy moments (so many to chose from !) were Arthur and Lancelot fighting with long sticks (I may have seen this 4 times in a row *ahem*) and Merlin and Lancelot randomly coming downstairs after what looked like a busy night spent with each other. THAT WAS SO PRICELESS.


My Merlin love has reached the point of spending time on it to do an icon batch, so um, yay.

I really thought the theme of the episode was 'how to do a threesome'. It was just too cute how smitten both Arthur and Merlin were with Lancelot. And poor Arthur's face when he watched Lancelot leave! I hope Merlin got to comfort him afterwards!

Riv and I sat in front of the episode with champagne, which was rather enjoyable er, but although it was all gayer than a big gay thing, we kept shouting "For fuck sake, WRONG GAY!!" at our screen. (Oh yes, we are terribly goal-oriented when it comes to delicious OTPness...)

Isn't Bradley James just GORGEOUS? I mean... guh. I don't even go for blond men but he's just... those features and the dark blue eyes and... gah! You know what I mean, I don't have to explain it. But to be a bit more serious, I think he does a very good job with Arthur, because Arthur could be an extremely unlikeable character, yet he's not.

The combination of Bradley and Santiago nearly made me keel over from sheer fangirly joy. YAAAAAAAY, Arthur icons! *loves*
