Seriously, I think it ties with "Journey's End" for 'Saddest Episode of New Who'. ("Doomsday" would be up there too if they'd just STOPPED AT THE WALL.)

Which is why it was INCREDIBLE ! David really really owned the episode.

Eh, Journey's End is more 'Episode of New Who which Pissed You Off the Most' for me but Doomsday totally was the one which made me cry the most before this one came along.

Because I was a wreck for the last 10 minutes of Doomsday and here I was in tears for half of WoM.

David did own the episode but let us not forget the EPIC AWESOME of Lindsay Duncan. She came to film this after playing Matt Smith's mother on stage (the meta, it makes me smile) according to the commentary and THEN they announced he was going to be the Doctor and she was so excited for him. XD
