So about that ending...
Not exactly what I wanted but pretty fucking fantastic overall.
We got Van and Jake acting their hearts out to show us how playful and in love Noah and Luke still were with each other. It felt just like old times AND THEY STILL GOT IT.
We got lots of touching.
We got a full circle with that sweet last kiss at WOAK.
We got Noah acting pretty much like the most amazingex-boyfriend in the history of ever.
We got confirmation that the Snyders still consider Noah like one of their own.
We got hope. Real, more than strongly hinted hope. We know that Luke will heal and come around. I'm more convinced than ever that they'll be all right.
So all in all, I'm happy and at peace with it. I will now wait for wonderful fanficsfull of OOBEs to keep the story going.
