Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I finished reading it so that mean that I'm fully back *waves*

I can finaly read my Flist and answer comments, yay !

I didn't read the other reviews yet but here's mine.

CHAPTER 33 FOR THE UBER WIN !!!!!!!!!!!! *SQUEEFLAILSDIES* \o/ \o/ \o/
This is my favorite chapter of the seven books, hands down. I gasped in horror at the ending of chap 32 and I felt SO RELIEVED when I saw the name of chap 33.

Good points :

** SNAPE IS INNOCENT *PUNCHES THE AIR*. The Prince's Tale was completely heartbreaking. He's the official woobie of the saga.

** NEVILLE IS A BIG DAMN BADASS HERO *fangirlish glee* and his warrior look and attitude made him so hot OMG. I want a Neville PWNS icon ASAP.

** HARRY DIED. Not for long but still. And he was a Horcrux after all ! I ADORED him and his bravery at the end and I felt so many BIG BURST OF LOVE towards him that it was overwhelming.

** Characters who surprised us like Dudley, Kreacher and Narcissa were made of win.

** Book 6 was all about revealing Tom's past and here it's Dumbledore's and it ROCKED OMG ! He was a greedy bastard, really ! That made him all the more interesting and Dumby/Grindelwald forevah KTHXBAI.

** It took me seven books but HI SNARRY I EMBRACE YOU. Albus Severus everyone ? Bravest man I ever knew was in Slytherin ? *FLAILS* XD And like sambre pointed, their respective Patronuses are a stag and a doe. Perfect match, much ? XD

** Draco was cute and I love that Harry used his wand to defeat Voldy in the end <3

** RON/HERMIONE IS FTW !!!!!!!! Especialy the bad timing kiss of hawt. It reminded me of Elisabeth and Will for some reason.

** Again, I am deeply satisfied by that ending and thought it was brilliant.


Bad points :

** The middle of the book was boring. The book started with lots of action packed and shocking stuff like the seven Potters or the infiltration of the ministry and ended with a gigantic epic battle at Hogwarts but saw the three heroes lost aimlessly in the woods in the middle. I didn't like that part, especialy before Ron's departure, it felt dull and didn't hold my interest.

** I'm disappointed that Harry ends up with Ginny. And I'm disappointed in the lack of improvement of her character. She was useless throughout the book and what little we saw of her didn't impress me at all. Okay okay ! I was still hoping several times that he would see Luna in a different light but well...

** From all the Wesleys she *had* to kill one of the twins didn't she ?? I find that more cruel than if she had killed both, you don't do that to twins ! Why couldn't it be Ginny ? (I actually hoped several times).

** That epilogue was completely unnecessary, I shall erase it from my mind (except for Albus Severus XD).


Farewells Harry Potter, you were deeply loved and you will be dearly missed and reread a lot.

YES THANK YOU THE END! Also, Snarry FTW! It was the pairing that got me into fandom/slash and damn, but this was such a good book for it. Albus Severus! Bravest man he knew! EEEEEEEEE!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

And Dumbledore's past made me really like him for the first time.

Neville KICKS ASS!

Dudley, Kreacher and Narcissa were made of win.

They really, really were. And the story behind R.A.B. damn near made me cry.

I find that more cruel than if she had killed both, you don't do that to twins !

Yeah, which is why she did it, I think. It really was one of the cruelest possible deaths.

In conclusion, ALBUS SEVERUS!

R.A.B and Snape's redemption weren't unexpected but I really liked reading it at last.

Dumby with flaws is a much more interesting character, It's not that I didn't like him before it's like I didn't really care. He's just more endearing and fleshed out now.

I was HUGELY satisfied with Neville's journey as a whole and I'm so very glad he didn't die ! *clings*

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, je l'ai finis hier soir !

Les 200 dernières pages étaient sublimes ! Et je reste juste traumatisée par la mort de Fred.
Je suis ok avec toit sur pas mal de points, surtout sur le dernier chapitre que j'ai trouvé inutile, mis à part la phrase d'Harry sur Snape.
