So last nightjedicathy and I were at THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS CONCERT FTW INFINITY and it was, as you guessed so awesome I could cry. I couldn't see a better way to spend a birthday EVER.
They had an orchestra and played lots of new songs in addition to the album and well, they rocked.
Alex Turner looks even more like a fifteen year old live. In fact he's 22 (yah well I had the urge to go on wikipedia after the gig.) BUT he did start Artic Monkeys at 15 (2002) so, there.

My first official ship. I revisited again their awesomeness this year and after all these years THEIR CHEMISTRY IS STILL MINDBLOWING AND PERFECT.I pretty much loathed XF2 but they sure still had it going onwhen they were allowed to display it.
Why not put my two favourite characters of the show together right ? JOSS ILU. I never saw it coming and it was such a pleasant surprise ! I was already predisposed towards screwed up and kinky relationships back then.
If I look back at the two series without getting distracted by the disappointment that was Tony/Maxxie in the end, Tony and Sid DEFINITELY had the most powerful and well writen relationship of the show. And judging by the finale, they totally loved each other to death, yes.
My very first slash pairing ! It still holds a special place in my heart because they were THE GAYEST THING ON TV during those blissful first three years of SV. Their love was epic. Back in the days when Lex was still a well-rounded character and Clark was all wide eyes and pouty lips. The Bilionaire and the Farmboy. The gratuitous 6 seconds where they stared at each other at the end of Hourglass back in season 1 ALQSKASK. It was glorious.
I adored Gene and Sam's relationship on LoM and aknowledged the slash but never managed to ship them properly. I don't know why. Gene and Alex on the other hand ARE TURNING ME ON SOMETHING FIERCE. They are hot like burning and that particular slow motion sequence from 106 is one of my favourite thing EVER.
It's only time. *dies* It was destiny and no matter where we left them, you just know that they're bound to find each other again. They are forever.
Again it is all about the chemistry. Obviously, the fact that we were told again and again that we should not ship them made me ship them HARDER. Of course, I don't ship them in a 'WE MUST BE IN LOVE' kind of way, they totally are BFF who happen to be fuck buddies as well. It doesn't hurt that fandom writes fantastic IC Ten/Donna smut either.
DUH. I vaguely remember mentions of Vince being Howard's wife once or twice ? *sarcasm* CANON.
LOOK AT THEM. I can't believe it's only been 15 days since I properly discovered the phenomenal extent of their love. And I can't believe how OBSESSED I am about them right now (of course it helps that I have an obsessive nature and that their subtext is all text apart from actual onscreen sex.). it's a grown up relationship... it's great in real life... but as I didn't reach any drama between those two, it's a bit boring to watch for a tv show (I mean their relationship, the show isn't boring at all)... I have a little stupid smile every time we saw them, but not that over squee, that heart beating I have when peter and Nathan are fighting for example... I need some drama to be happy XD and for the moment their relationship is too easy and simple (I know I have to go on, there will be drama later...)

And yes, you're right we definitely can't have the same views on H/W since you're two seasons behind. The thing is that I never found them boring even when they were not fighting (maybe by boring you mean that all that 'perfect' happiness is a bit repetitive ? Yes, I'm trying to rephrase it with less harsh words XD)

Et pourtant ! C'est l'un des premier pairings qui m'a fait découvrir le monde des fics. J'ai toujours worshipé Wesley qui est mon perso préféré du jossverse et j'adorais Wolfram & Hart et la team Lindsey/Lilah. Donc je me souviens encore du choc quand j'ai vu la première photo promo de Lilah tournant autour de Wesley XD
Enfin bref, même si j'ai beaucoup aimé le Wes/Fred de saison 5 et que j'aivais un penchant pour le Wes/Faith depuis BTVS, Wes/Lilah reste pour moi teh pairing of hawt (même si c'était trop court).
