Day 22 - A pairing that a lot of people ship, but you don’t

I know this one's pretty popular in the fandom but I just never could get behind Mitchell/Annie on Being Human. Never. Ever ever.
And I also don't really get the Annie worship. I like her fine but sometimes the whole series 3 run AHEM she grates on my nerves something fierce.

Honorable mention : Dean/Castiel (SPN). It's not that I'm against it per say but I've never really shipped it. And I'm not a hardcore Sam/Dean shipper either but I do miss the times before Castiel came into the picture (even if I like him).


Day 23 - An unpopular pairing that you like

Er... Er... Er... From Smallville : Jason/Lex? Or Lexana? Those were wildly unpopular in their time (at least in my Clex circle lol). I loved the former for its crack value and the latter because it was so dirty wrong. Upon recent rewatch, I still ship it.


Day 24 - A pairing you think are actually together behind-the-scenes, but it's not confirmed in canon



Plu-ease. Am I to believe that these two never did anything to deal with their scorching UST in the 900 years they've known each other? Let's get real.


Day 25 - A pairing that you have grown to like but didn't at first

Hmmmm. Nothing really comes to mind. I'm a total ship whore which means that if I ship it, I ship it instantly with the fire of a thousand suns :) (although I guess Lexana could do since the mere idea of it made me barf at first).


Day 26 - Favourite childhood pairing



A twitter chat with my nukies some time ago made me realize how incredibly similar they are in personality to Luke and Noah. How Mamoru was always super calm, strong and grounded yet always teased Usagi mercilessly? Yup that's Noah. And how Usagi could be super silly and overwhelmed by her emotions yet extremely determined and always wearing her heart on her sleeve? LUKE LUKE LUKE (a bit less bitchy I guess). It's quite mindbogglingly trufax.

Skins had an amazing run this year. I gave up on the show with gen 2 but gen 3 sucked me right back in. I'm super psyched for the finale!


I've watched Smallville all weekend, I'm up to season 5 already. IT IS WONDERFUL. IT'S LIKE FALLING IN LOVE WITH AN OLD FRIEND ALL OVER AGAIN. Rewatching Shattered/Asylum/Memoria/Transference/Onyx these pas few days has been AWESOMETACULAR. Tom Welling is not physically possible, I WANT TO DO BAD THINGS TO HIM. And Michael Rosenbaum Y U SO EXCELLENT. And this show was just the gayest thing on the planet at one point. Blinding.

Day 4 - Favourite siblings



The Salvatore Bros are BOSS. Granted I haven't been watching for long but they are badass and lolarious with each other. They just ROCK. And to think they were one of the main reason I didn't want to watch this show for the longest of time. Hahaha.

This one was *so* difficult. I just couldn't choose since one choice made me guilty as hell to not pick the other so... You get two absolute favourite.

Day 2 - Favourite slash pairing



One reason I couldn't choose between these two is that I *know* that the Doctor/Master is still on the back of my mind and just on stand by. As soon as they get Benedict Cumberbatch a Master for Eleven, I'll be hardcore all over it again. They're it for me because they are forever, literally.

On the other hand, I couldn't NOT pick Nuke since it had such a massive influence on me for almost two years now. I hadn't felt that for a pairing since, well, my massive Team Timecock love. Despite the fact that the show ended last september, I'm still in the fandom and still full of Nuke love. Also, VAN AND JAKE. Their epic awesomeness/dorkitude/snark/hawtness/BFFness isn't going anywhere so NEITHER AM I.

Honorable mention aka my past biggest OTPs : Harry/Draco (HP), Clark/Lex (SV), Brian/Justin (QaF US) and Howince | Noelian (Mighty Boosh). I enjoy plenty of other pairings but these are the only ones where I really got myself into the fandoms.

Speaking of Clex, I've started a 'best of' Smallville marathon. I meant to do it since I heard that Michael Rosenbaum would appear in the series finale and I decided I'd tune in again for nostalgia's sake (I gave up on SV halfway through S7). Doing it now was actually prompted by a convo I had with my fellow clex lover nicelyobsessed (that's how we met... 6 years ago, blimey Cookie!) and OMFG I REMEMBER WHY I FELL SO HARD FOR THIS PAIRING. Like, I'm only watching s2 episodes right now but the subtext between Clark and Lex was so amazing in those days, I just want to throw up rainbows all over my screen.

If you've ever wondered where my ridiculous username came from then now you know that I'm a former hardcore Rosenbaum stan. HAI.


ETA : MY BB ELEVEN IS HOLDING ON AND MADE IT TO ROUND 4 OF THE STEEL CAGE MATCH MARCH MADNESS. VOTE FOR ELEVEN KTHBAI.

Your main fandom of the year?
The Nuke/Jansis fandom which won't let go of my balls thanks to the many talented and lovely people and Van & Jake being pretty busy since the end of the show.

Your favorite film watched this year?
It's a tie between A Single Man because it was visually flawless and Colin just PWNED, The Social Network because Jesse Eisenberg was extremely impressive, the pace and dialogue were incredible and GARFIELD and Scott Pilgrim Vs The World because my expectations were so high that I never thought it'd meet them, and yet it did. 200% fun and quotable.

Doctor Who and I bow down before Moffat and Smith who ruled their first year, Sherlock which just came out of nowhere and was so amazing and slashy I could cry (thanks again, Moffat and OMG HAI BENEDICT HAI) and MISFITS MISFITS MISFITS which blew my brains out with the epicness of s2. UK telly just owns my soul.
ETA : also, Community s2 because space mission in a simulator sponsored by KFC, Zombies in halloween costumes, Monkey stealing purple pen and Stop motion christmas. HOW AMAZING IS THIS.

Your best new TV discovery of the year?
Sherlock which was clearly too short for its brilliance and I've had a tremendous amount of cracky fun catching up with True Blood, which I never saw before.

The last couple of months of ATWT which screwed everyone over. But my love for the boys had always little to do with the show so thanks for nothing but *turns to hugely more competent fic writers and drowns self into fixit fics*

Day 30 - if their story could be made into a new show, what would you have their first episode be about ? Who would you want carried over into the new show ?

The first episode would be about them moving in together, in an apartment we ACTUALLY SEE (that was my hope for the end of the show way back in december. I didn't want a wedding, I just wanted to see them moving in and maybe wake up together in the same bed once. Ha. Ha. Ha.).
I would want to keep Casey, Maddie, Lucinda and the Snyders in the new show. Maybe Winston and Damian could wreck havoc at some point. OR ZOMBIES.
Oh and it would air on HBO so Luke and Noah could have tons of hot onscreen sex :D

Blah Blah Vampire Emergency Blah...

I had an awesome Birthday with champagne, chinese food, delicious cake and lots of awesome gifts (mostly dvd boxsets of Fry n Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory and some cd's, the Drums and Broken Social Scene).

I spent an awesome saturday with the bro, fairy_bliss, jedicathy and tya_rc at the Rock en Seine music festival. We saw the Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club (totes my favourite gig of the entire day. Also, their drummer is Billy Magnussen's doppelganger, it's so freaky !), Queens of the Stone Age and Massive Attack. Great line up and we had a blast, even if we were knackered when we came back home around 1:30 am. But it was completely worth it, just like last year.
Next year we'll try and level up to Glastonbury though, I hope we'll make it !

Day 15 - Favorite Nuke picture (from the ATWT set)

GOSH. TRY TO ASK ME SOMETHING HARDER, I DARE YOU.

So I caved and watched ATWT yesterday, I probably won't be able to not watch when Noah is on anyway (meaning 2 eps left).

I cried my eyes out but it was WAY better than what I feared. I didn't realise how much I missed Van and Jake's chemistry and it was on in this, ON. LIKE. FIRE.

Boys are so fucking in love still, it broke my heart. Noah asking him to come to L.A. and telling him how he tortured himself with thoughts of him killed me. The line "when I was blind I was so scared I'd never see you again. Now I'm..." and the cheek stroking (no it's not a Reid thing ok ?! Noah has 2.5 years on him in the cheek stroking department) and the fact that he had to leave before he finished saying it because he was about to break down. (I cried so hard)
Luke is denying his true feelings and settling for an easier relationship. The way he reacted to Noah spoke volume.The flirty playfulness at the start. How he *wanted* that hug/kiss goodbye. The way he said there will never be anyone like Noah in his life ever again. How he didn't hear his phone ringing and how he never took his eyes off Noah while he was talking to Reid on the phone. His shaky sigh when Noah left.

MY BOYS STILL LOVE EACH OTHER. NOBODY CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.

This is why, even if I'm still pissed that we only get two Nuke episodes left (won't bother to watch the rest of the Lure stuff anyway), I kinda think now that they *could* pull off a correct ending for Luke and Noah on the basis that even if they have to work things out, to me they clearly are still so in love with each other.

Also, Chreid FOREVER (and they will be :D).
