Lost in Austen 101/102
It's like the worst idea ever for a series turned into something amazingly brilliant !
The cast is magnificent and made of an important amount of Doctor Who actors (Mrs Bennett, Kitty Bennett, Caroline Bingley and Charlotte Lucas), which is fun.
Bingley is *adorable* and unexpected!Alex Kingston as Mrs Bennett is made of 57 flavours of awesome ! I'm really enjoying this so far and it totally made me want to reread P&P badly.
Merlin 101
HILARIOUSLY BAD.
Arthur and Merlin are pictured as the highschool stereotypes of the obnoxious jock and the misunderstood emo kid.
Giles!Pendragon is quite enjoyable and Jethro!Merlin is admitedly cute as hell, even if their characters are *very* conventional.
Eve Myles made a lovely witch <3
The talking dragon made me LOL hard and Jethro!Merlin's powers made him look like a long lost sister Halliwell.
It's the kind of bad that makes you keep watching for the cracklulz, though.
I also tried watching the Middleman 102 and gave up 7 minutes in, so this is definitely it for me.
It's like I know I should find it awesome but everything seems flat and fake and I can't get into it at all.
On the old skool Who front, I've finished watching Colony in Space which was pretty dull overall except for the Master being all "LET'S RULE THE UNIVERSE TOGETHER, BB" to the Doctor, once again.
God I love his clinginess !
The Daemons is much more entertaining so far. Especially for Benton and Yates watching telly together and the sheer hotness of Vicar!Master *nghhh*

And something strange happened, while I was not really into this version of Darcy, I was suddenly FLAILING LIKE MAD all over his arse in the last one.
And I loved Amanda for saying "all the people in the world will hate me" because she still stays marvelously down to earth (until the point when she's not and gets heartbroken but I could only sympathise because I would have done THE EXACT SAME THING IN HER PLACE). I also loved her HARD for the bit of fanservice she gave us, dude.
EDIT : haha LiA's awesomeness blanked the rest of your comment. Merlin is definitely worth watching for the crack and the slash that I feel will become epic in the future.
I really have no idea why the Middleman doesn't appeal to me at all since I objectively understand why people love it :/

Agreed on Darcy! I told ya, my braves, that we were supposed to find him blank and cold in the first episodes but that by the end he'd probably be the best Darcy we have ever seen! It's because the audience is Lizzy with this series - never has her point of view been made so clear to us. And of course, the fact that Amanda is just a big moony fangirl who's so desperate to make the book right just make you love her to death.
All in all, YAY ALL ROUND! I'm so happy you both loved it that much!

Yes they really managed that perfectly because I couldn't see myself having an epiphany about him before the end of the series and then he swept me off my feet in 3 seconds time *_*
Amanda should be the ultimate mary sue and is instead the ultimate identificational character so it's impossible not to empathize with her.
I really did not expect to love it so much ! I can't believe it's almost finished already :/

And related to your icon : yes, I totally yelled this at the end of the Daemons part 1 because of it XD

That icon is the bestest thing to make me chuckle! :P

Oh, thank God. I felt like I was the ONLY person on the Internet who didn't get what was so great about that show. I managed the first two and a half episodes before I gave up. It didn't make me laugh at all, and I have a very quirky sense of humor.

With added gayness (not that I read those and ever ever will).

I tried The Middle Man and I just can't...
You're not alone!

I'm glad to not be the only one repelled by it when everyone and their dogs seem to praise it :/ *hugs*
