MOAR DW SPOILERS + BOOSH SQUEEGASM
THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL FIRST SET REPORT
You should know that I have this MAJOR KINK about victorian Doctor/Master fics. It's definitely my favourite historical period.
So *IF* the Master is somewhat in it ? MY BRAIN ? WILL CRASH AND BURN. BUT I WOULD DIE A VERY HAPPY AND ACCOMPLISHED FANGIRL.
I realise that it might be too much to ask, so I could settle for Ten wearing a victorian outfit instead. But if they don't even go there I'll cry myself to sleep afterwards because this Christmas Special will be forever remembered as THE MISSED OPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME.
I'm not worrying about the quality that much because you really only can go up after VOTD, which was made of ultimate fail.
You may wonder why I'm squeeing so much about something not even really related, but as soon as I saw the extras in the set pics, my brain immediately went *OMG THEY'RE FILMING VICTORIAN GOTHIC FOR CHRISTMAS*
That's almost as bad as anticipating 4x06 because I convinced myself that the master mixed his DNA with the Doctor's to clonetheir his daughter.
In other unrelated new, IT RAINED BOOSH PICS TODAY. \o/
With Julian and Noel hugging *dies*, Noel being his usual promiscuous self, SINGING AND GUITAR PLAYING, impossibly HOT hair and general hotness, cheekiness and slashiness all around.

And I'm so deep into X-Files at the moment that I had a Mulder/Scully smutty dream last night. OMG I DREAMT OF HET PORN. I can't remember the last time it happened.
But it was very nice because I'm at this point in the show where Chris Carter is all "M/S are never going to get romantically involved, THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS TEH PLATONIC MKAY ?" in all his interviews. I can't remember what he was saying three seasons later in the extras but I'm rather amused to see him telling (himself) that so convincingly. Sometimes, you just can't fight the actor's chemistry. I guess that's why he had to change his tune later on, and I never thought it did bad to the show either. But I'm a silly shipper so I don't think my opinion counts.
Off to watch Irresistible now, which is one of my all time favourite episode *squee*

I looked at your tags before I clicked the fakecut, and saw the team timecock ftw tag and ALMOST HAD SOME SORT OF CORONARY at the thought of master/doctor and and and.... then it wasn't, it was cybermen and dervla kerwin which is nice but NOT GLORIOUS ENOUGH TO BE SIMM and yes. I feel somewhat gulliable and foolhardy for allowing myself to hope for even a moment. Despite all the recent who casting spoilers of Practically Everyone Ever Returning.

Maybe in the Specials? Ideally, the final moment of the Christmas Special is "ZOMFG MASTER!REVEAL" which will lead into three specials. All about the Master. Each and every time.
Of course after the happenings of Torchwood, its not as if I could even allow myself to hope for a nanosecond of Simm. Le sigh!
