Fanturday tomorrow ! I'm seeing ephyse, jedicathy, tya_rc and fairy_bliss freshly back from Canada, if we're lucky. We will pick the christmas issue of NME, which has an hilarious photoshoot with the Boosh boys (all kinds of wrong = \o/) <3

I'm also on holidays yay ! I'm leaving for Manchester with ephyse on monday for our second Mighty Boosh trip (I quite like those, we should totally do them once a month from now on, right ? XD). We will come back on wednesday for christmas and then there's this little thing called the Next Doctor (D-6) airing the very next day, TEEHEE. I am really looking forward to next week.

And I'm so deep into X-Files at the moment that I had a Mulder/Scully smutty dream last night. OMG I DREAMT OF HET PORN. I can't remember the last time it happened.
But it was very nice because I'm at this point in the show where Chris Carter is all "M/S are never going to get romantically involved, THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS TEH PLATONIC MKAY ?" in all his interviews. I can't remember what he was saying three seasons later in the extras but I'm rather amused to see him telling (himself) that so convincingly. Sometimes, you just can't fight the actor's chemistry. I guess that's why he had to change his tune later on, and I never thought it did bad to the show either. But I'm a silly shipper so I don't think my opinion counts.

Off to watch Irresistible now, which is one of my all time favourite episode *squee*

But I still feel like there's something missing today because I have this urge to rewatch Noel and Julian singing Married On The Morrow but my series 3 dvds are at angeliksmall's place. She hasn't even bothered watching the extras yet... She's had them for a week already ! I can't understand non boosh obsessed people (no I'm just kidding here. I'm not that scary. *clears throat*).

Right so I haven't talked much about the Boosh in my last few posts but did you really think I had finally found a cure or something ? \o/

Just in time to bring my boosh dvds to angeliksmall (had to get a fix before I gave them away). I spent the week harassing her, it was quite fun.

Here's an example why, my friends, you should ALWAYS listen to audio commentaries :

Noel : On the internet someone wrote this scene and turned it into a porn scene where Julian and I get off with each other. Yep. That's true. You can see it on the internet. It's filthy, it slightly turned me on when I read it.

Audio commentary for 204 Fountain of Youth, illustrating the lovely scene in the tent where Vince is sprawled on the cushions with his peacock feather and has a private chat with Howard, who's dressed in this almost birthday suit hot slave costume.

I rewinded and listened again but I heard right the first time. SOMUCHLOVEICOULDCRY.

And then there's this interview conducted by a slasher which is also all kinds of pricelecess, with jewels like :

I rather agree with the interviewer's description of Julian's phone sex voice. Oh yes, because at first I was all about Noel but these days Julian... Boy. Let's just say that Ju is seriously getting to me as well. I love how awkward and shy he's in his interviews, it's adorable. And he also has this manly charm going on which is making me go NGHH.

Yesterday I met up with the girlz, lilibel, jedicathy, angeliksmall, fairy_bliss, ephyse, daiyaa and a friend of hers to exchange our secret santa gifts. The afternoon was spent at Starbucks and it was lovely and animated.

I was particulary glad to see lilibel, ephyse and daiyaa again since it's been ages.

We had a very fun debate about Voyage of the Damned at some point because everyone here had completely different levels of appreciation.

My secret *snorts* santa was angeliksmall and she got me some lovely gifts :

- The New Beginnings boxset (which I hadn't suggested at all XD) with The Keeper of Traken/Logopolis/Castrovalva.
- The Claws of Axos dvd.
- a very cute Ten/Simm!Master keychain.
- a gorgeous art featuring the ten Doctors to go with the six Masters art that I already had ! *squees*

So in the end it was all about Doctor/Master, angeliksmall knows me like the back of her hand *smother her in a hug*



In other news, versaphile wrote the most perfect, beautiful and heartbreaking Ten POV post VOTD imaginable. I love her to death for it.

Oh and on the Mighty Boosh front, Nanageddon scared me of little old ladies for life, very much like Blink did with statues.
But goth!Vince Noir slayed me to death with teh Hawts and old lady!Vince Noir was oddly appealing.

I'm enjoying series 2 even more that the first one. Especially for Naboo's increased presence and the fact that he's shirtless 90% of the time and the total randomness of the Moon ! *rotfl*
