Sailor Moon is my childhood, right there. One of these days I should actually get around to watching all the Japanese anime, movies, and live action.
Welcome to the club ! That's a pretty big task to engage into, but you should at least take a look at the live action because it is hilariously cracktastic (and actually quite good plot-wise when they finally get on with it).
Uranus and Neptune I remembered, however I had no idea about Kunzite and Zoisite and a bunch of other characters. I just assumed that it wasn't there in the first place, not that it was cut out ! France wasn't much more open minded that America, I'm afraid.
