Speaking of VAN. A lot of us have accidentally *snerk* seen a rough cut of the first 17 minutes of his upcoming horror movie, Occupant. IT LOOKED GOOD AND V. INTERESTING.

Apart from that, everyone and I mean EVERYONE should watch Olli from Verbotene Liebe ride a tiny pony. Because it's so hilariously epic my mind is blown.

Just because I lol'ed as I read this in the train yesterday, here's the hilarious things Steven Moffat wrote about Matt Smith in this month's DWM production notes.

The very first part.

Now let me count the ways.

1. Van Hansis is THE SHIT. He can act his way through a soap opera and be awesome at it. Pretty much everyone else has killed me with unwanted lulz at some point but not him, oh no. I take Luke dead seriously and he's the only one to get me emo enough to tear up. In fact he is so talented and my love for Luke is so hardcore that I'm watching Luke's story pre Noah now. INORITE *facepalm* But now I can say that he owned the role from the start.

2. Luke Snyder's EPIC BITCHINESS. He is *such* a little bitch ! If Luke doesn't like you you better run for the hills because he's a vindictive little fucker. That's of course not all there is to him but that's my favourite side and I'm always squeeing my head off when it comes out.
In one of the latest storylines, Noah's professor tried to steal him from Luke and Luke basically lost his shit and destroyed his career (and his nose). IT WAS GLORIOUS. winterevanesce made an awesome fanvid of the Luke & Mason debacle : Luke Snyder vs Professor Beefcake : THE SMACKDOWN. It's a good exemple of Luke's bitchy side (Noah was not a happy bunny but I'm sure he'll come around).

3. Noah Mayer is THE BEST. BOYFRIEND. EVER. After Luke and Noah started to have sex, Noah inherited the Oakdale Brain (it's a soap, therefore the town has only one brain to spare) and kept it ever since. He is always super patient with Luke and prevents him from getting too much into trouble (because Luke is brash, stubborn, a bit of a spoiled brat and extremely impulsive. Did I say that I fucking loved him ?).

4. Jake Silbermann's voice. I don't know why but his voice is such a turn on. I also love his puppy blue eyes. He did the best audition tapes ever where he says extremely filthy stuff like "semen-swallowing soul-crushing demon slut" and I basically never recovered because his voice + filth = more than I could handle (makes it easier to imagine Noah's dirty talk during sex though)

5. Luke's current Magnificent Hair. I say current because Luke is always changing haircuts and hair color every 5 episodes. Right now it's a bit too long and so very GORGEOUS. I just want to reach out and run my hand through it. The storyline right now is maybe the most ridiculous after the Reg Murder Mystery of Fail (nothing can top that one) and ok, Jake is actually pretty good at portraying Noah's anger and frustration with his current condition. But what really makes me hold on ? The Wonders of Luke's Hair, definitely.

6. The Fashion Statement. Noah wears flannel shirts. Luke wears Every Kind of Stripes Ever. They wear flannel and stripes on screen both at the same time and yet I still haven't gone blind. I think they actually pull it off, even. How do they do it ? I have no fucking idea.

7. Luke and Noah are the cutest pairing ever. I'll admit that I may love when they're fighting and angsting all over the place (their first big fight still being my all time favourite part) even more, but in the end, there's no better reward than have them happy and completely adorable with each other for a while. It's usually short lived but it makes those moments all the more precious.




8. Luke being all slutty and mean when drunk. It's SO HOT I CAN'T EVEN.

9. Everytime they talk about or allude to sex. I know that it's daytime tv which means that we'll never have a sex scene QaF style thank god for the steamy fics but it's already nice that THEY FINALLY DID IT and that since then they talk about it or imply that they fuck like bunnies so often. It helps that Jake and Van have such an A-MA-ZING sexual chemistry, that it looks 100% genuine and natural on screen.

10. THE EPIC AFTERELTON ROCKBAND INTERVIEW. TOO MUCH FTW TO COMPUTE. It has the boys playing Rockband with Jake trying to look like a rockstar with his guitar when playing in easy mode and Jake but mostly Van butchering singing Bad Reputation (more adorable butchering at the end of the video). The following interview is PRICELESS because they are... Well if there is so many RPS fics in this fandom let's just say that it's completely their fault. Watch out for the body language and how they talk about "certain friendships". Oh my god.

We've hit the halfway mark.If you've made it so far then I'm impressed ! I could really go on and on but I did restrain myself (though I could totally come up with an identical post and 20 new reasons, easy peasy.).

Conclusion : you never know when and where you will find your next major OTP and it might strike you when you least expect it.
For me, it only happened to this level three times before, with CLex, Brian/Justin and Doctor/Master. This is officially my fourth and I'm so happy to be in that state again.

I haven't had that much fun putting a post together in forever ♥

*gah* So much to update about. SO LAZY.

So last weekend I invited fairy_bliss, foui_the_brave (aka Untitled) and ephyse to watch Children of Earth Day 5 all together for the first time (*hmmph* *kicks Eph*) and do a little marathon of the whole thing afterwards to celebrate Torchweek.
So we did watch Day 5 in shocking silence because honestly, I for my part, was fucking horrified. But in a good way ! I think that the series as a whole was one of the best piece of television we've had all year and I WILL NEVER FORGET JOHN FROBISHER. HE WAS A GOOD MAN *dies a little inside*

We had a lovely chat afterwards (outside, under the sun *gasps*) and fairy_bliss left us for the night because she had to wake up early the next day for the french HP premiere (which I'm glad she did now because she was able to warn me about the big cuts they made in the story, more on that later).

We never got the COE marathon under way because we realized that all in one go so soon after having seen it would have probably ended with us killing ourselves. We did rewatch *that* death though and I didn't cry this time :) (which meant that I actually heard what they were saying lol).

So we had a comedy night instead, and it felt really good after all the gloom and doom fest of Torchweek. We watched both Alan and Jimmy Carr'stand up. I only knew Jimmy Carr through the big fat quizz but OMFG HE IS HILARIOUS. I mean you want to slap him hard because his humor is horrific and he has the most annoying face ever but you can't help yourself from laughing like mad. His impro skills are really impressive.
We also watched some bits and pieces of Tim Minchin'So Fucking Rock (♥) and Foui introduced us to Eddie Izzard which I knew by reputation but I'm so glad she did because INSTA LOVE for the man. We finished the night with Let's Go To Prison at Eph's request and she loved it so much that I could talk her through snagging my Arrested Development s1 boxset :D

I have now my hands on the 4 stand up shows of Jimmy Carr (watched In Concert and Live) and Eddie Izzard's Dress To Kill (which was watched and LUUUUVED).


Those days I'm cheating on my OTP because I kinda... Fell back into Ten/Jack and am reading anything post COE with them in it. I blame it on my love for COE!Jack and his awesome character development, and me being obsessed by the follow up to the series.


I also fell back into Dexter because I caught up with season 3 in two days AND IT WAS MADE OF WIN. Well the ending was less good than the previous two finales but the Dexter/Miguel Prado storyline kept me on the edge of my seat. The actors had an incredible chemistry ! Oh and Michael C. Hall ? Still nom nom nomable and brilliant *__*

I still have Alias season 5 to watch and Chuck to caught up with and then I'll be able to try something new.

In other news I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesterday with the bro and fairy_bliss, and apart from the bad seats, I COMPLETELY LOVED IT !

It was gorgeous, both incredibly funny and dark in places. The young cast was the best they've ever been so far and the others were excellent, as always.
JIM BROADBENT STOLE THE WHOLE MOVIE FOR ME. HE WAS UTTERLY PRICELESS AND SPOT ON.

All in all a big YAY for this one. I can't wait to see it in all its IMAX glory when we'll be in Glasgow !

IT LOOKS SO SILLY IT'S HURTING MY FACE ! I mean the *DRAMA* and the weird Pitchblack vibes I kept getting WTH, WTH indeed.

YET I DON'T GIVE A TOSS ABOUT THE RIDICULOUSNESS BECAUSE IT'S WHO ON DA TELLY SOON AGAIN. IT'S A MUCH TOO RARE PHENOMENON THIS YEAR TO NOT BE SQUEEING ABOUT.

Even if whatsherface is already annoying me to no end.

Internet failed me last night before I had the time to watch the first ep of Dr Horrible, and it was well, HORRIBLE. Now I have and I just remembered that OMG I LOVE NEIL PATRICK HARRIS SOMETHING FIERCE. MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I will get myself a Barney fix right after my AD season 3 watching. Oh and I love Whedon. And there's not enough words and wild hand motions to tell how much this rocked my socks.


Thanks to the very nice Doctor/Master crowd for caring about the fate of Handy!Doctor. Some gems have seen the light of day amongst the gazillion Handy/Rose fics.
