** We *finally* got some Hansis news (stop being MIA you ho!) which made me realize how much I missed his face. First, Ryan from BlazinRy Radio (who is an old college pal of Jake and did a cracky 'college reunion' itw with him a few weeks ago) announced that he would do a radio interview with Van in december. And yes the fact that Van's getting interviewed by a friend of Jake totally made my night #JansisForLife
AND THEN, awesome nukie ninjas decided to strike and release 6568793649687469 new headshots he did in LA recently (only one of them is in HQ but BOOOY). VAN HANSIS IS FLAWLESS. We shall also have a video itw with Welovesoaps very soon so, MY VAN HANSIS FANGIRLY HEART IS FINALLY SATISFIED.

** Meanwhile, Jake (that other ho) keeps teasing us on FaBo about exciting news coming up and you better meet the expectations you're creating, Silbermann. He is also displaying a ridiculous amount of awesomeness by liking comments about Goutman and his asshole ways.

** Darren Criss on glee was seen and fangirled intensely over ! I loved the episode and Blaine is so far just as cool as he said he would be in his interviews *hearts* Darren was trending worldwide on twitter on tuesday night and there's already rumors that he is about to get promoted as series regular ! I'm so proud of him omg !
I was immediately on board with Kurt/Blaine, even if I still am a Sam/Kurt shipper and I still believe in it (especially with the latest spoilers). Let's hope for a triangle, even!
It also made me rewatch AVPM and STILLSOMUCHLOVE. "Quirrel... Ok is wonderful !" is like, one of my favoritest moment of anything, EVER!

** I'm still enjoying Hollyoaks's twisted Ste/Bren storyline and even if right now, I feel really uncomfortable shipping them, next week's spoilers could change that reaaaally fast. Steven is totally mah BB, he hurts so prettily and is so sweeeet <3 Brendan is a pure delight. The more psycho he gets, the more I bloody love him. Emmett is incredible in the role.

So I caved and watched ATWT yesterday, I probably won't be able to not watch when Noah is on anyway (meaning 2 eps left).

I cried my eyes out but it was WAY better than what I feared. I didn't realise how much I missed Van and Jake's chemistry and it was on in this, ON. LIKE. FIRE.

Boys are so fucking in love still, it broke my heart. Noah asking him to come to L.A. and telling him how he tortured himself with thoughts of him killed me. The line "when I was blind I was so scared I'd never see you again. Now I'm..." and the cheek stroking (no it's not a Reid thing ok ?! Noah has 2.5 years on him in the cheek stroking department) and the fact that he had to leave before he finished saying it because he was about to break down. (I cried so hard)
Luke is denying his true feelings and settling for an easier relationship. The way he reacted to Noah spoke volume.The flirty playfulness at the start. How he *wanted* that hug/kiss goodbye. The way he said there will never be anyone like Noah in his life ever again. How he didn't hear his phone ringing and how he never took his eyes off Noah while he was talking to Reid on the phone. His shaky sigh when Noah left.

MY BOYS STILL LOVE EACH OTHER. NOBODY CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.

This is why, even if I'm still pissed that we only get two Nuke episodes left (won't bother to watch the rest of the Lure stuff anyway), I kinda think now that they *could* pull off a correct ending for Luke and Noah on the basis that even if they have to work things out, to me they clearly are still so in love with each other.

Night at the jap with the girls tonight. It will probably be fun and LOUD.

I will have a gazillion soapy awesomeness to catch up with when I get home. Oh and I'm about to finish True Blood season 1. I'm sorta hooked ! Lafayette is still my favourite so far. Eric is already kicking ass and taking names, even if his hair is hilarious.

Doctor Who broke my heart.

I loved The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood as a whole, I thought it was a solid two parter. I still prefer Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, which I think remain my fave episodes so far.
Here, I loved the spookiness of part one and the epicness of two. The physical and CGI FX were gorgeous. The set design was also beautiful.

I thought they did a great job with the new Silurians and I thought that the stakes in part two were well handled. The human characters were also quite memorable and interesting and I really dug the grim tone of the story.

As for ( THAT TWIST )

Oh sweet sweet pain.

FORTUNATELY, the Confidential had an awesome video diary with Mazza n Kazza during the DW tour and it had the complete opposite effect on me. THEIR GENUINE DORKTASTICNESS NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE.

Case in point : MAZZA AND KAZZA'S PRESH DANCE OF PRESHNESS. Which I watched about 868769386978963897963 times already. I'm only human after all.

Last saturday I went to a french Supernatural convention with fairy_bliss, jedicathy, ephyse, daiyaa and vilajyade, mainly for Misha Collins and it didn't disappoint !

fairy_bliss and I actually had about zero expectations and not a whole lot of excitement since we're not as into spn as we once were. Even that is debatable for me SINCE I've never REALLY been fannish about spn, even if I love the show. We were quite worried about the "french" part of french convention but some silly bits aside it was extremely lovely and even had good organization and a nice staff.

Misha is as mad as he appears to be and was hilarious throughout (and damn hot), Alona Tal was a sweetheart and Traci Dinwiddie a total surprise because she was most awesome and sweet.

Since France can't do anything like everyone else, here, they thought it would be awesome to teach us a Ghostbuster dance (it was ridic but admitedly less mortifying once we got used to it) so that people who would be there on sunday (me and galouz weren't) could perform it in front of the guests and they could join.

I love how he sneaked out before the end and how Traci and Alona ended up dancing with each other. Lolz.

It needed at least another season of Cara and Kahlan's Epic Femslashy Love. Of Richard's Abs. Of badass fights and fierce Hairography. Of Lord Rahl's fabulousness. Of Zedd's incredible cockblocking skills. OF THE MINDBLOWING CRACK & LULZ THAT IT BROUGHT WEEKLY INTO MY LIFE.
Thank you for all of these, show. You were fantabulous and gone way too fast, I'll never forget you.






** I've completely fallen for yet another soap storyline (it's only like, my 5th... Hahaha.). This time it's Aaron's story from the british soap Emmerdale. It's actually a departure from the way gay storylines are usually treated in soaps and one of the most realistic, riveting, raw and heartbreaking story I've seen yet. It really takes twists and turns that are original and sometimes quite difficult to take in. The writing and acting are absolutely brilliant. Danny Miller is only 19 but is hopefully promised to a great acting career. His tears already have almost as much power as the mighty Simmtears ! (I've picspammed the sheer beauty of it here). Aaron is a very complex and damaged character which is why he is fascinating to watch.

Brand New Day by humansrsuperior is an Epic Ode to the wonderfulness of Eleven n Amy. There's a bit of Matt n Karen thrown in for good measure and it's just incredibly awesome and flawlessly edited. IT MADE ME SQUEE AND FLAIL ALL OVER. So go watch.

A Crack in the Skin of the Universe by zabbers is a fantastic ficlet set during the current series but from the Master's pov. I WOULD ACTUALLY DIE IF SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED IN THE SHOW. But I bet it won't, damnit. Can you tell that I'm already hitching for the Master to come back ? C'mon Moffat, you know what to do in series 6.

So last week I went 4 times to the movies and wanted to post about it because I loved every single one of them but I have postponed this post for the last week or so because of my epic laziness.


Sherlock Holmes has finally been out over here for 2 weeks and now that I've seen it (twice last week, eh) I'd say that the hype surrounding it is well deserved. It was hot, fast paced and terribly endearing. Robert was completely Ace, not that it was unexpected and I was pleasantly surprised by Jude Law's Watson, especially since I'm usually not the biggest Law fan. They had wicked chemistry and worked really well together. I was also pleased by the supporting cast since I always love me some Mark Strong and Rachel McAdams.

I Love You, Phillip Morris really didn't disappoint. Both Carrey and McGregor played their part brilliantly and the story was in turn hilarious, sweet and yet incredibly sad. It was hard to believe that it was indeed a true story because some of the con Steven Russell pulled off were just completely unbelievable. I've read a very good interview with the real Russell and not only what is in the film is as close to the truth as it gets, but he really is a fascinating man. It breaks my heart a little to think that he is now in solitary 23 hours a day for the rest of his life. Couldn't they make him work for the FBI or something ? He's like a super Neal Caffrey ! I've ordered the book and can't wait to read it. I really loved their story.

Brothers was mainly worth it for the stunning acting performances of Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal. The film felt so intimate to me that I had the impression that I was intruding sometimes. The trailer was also misleading and the story was not quite what I expected, which is a good thing since it turned out way more interesting and challenging than what I thought it would be. It also had quite a strong anti-army, anti-war message at its heart that I did not expect and found really well handled and moving.

I'm seing Valentine's Day tomorrow (and going to a Cobra Starship gig afterwards, eeehh). Shush. I love me some stupid romcom once in a while and it doesn't make me a girly girl that girls kthx.


In other news, I have started a That 70's Show marathon because I have acquired all 8 seasons, thanks to my dear fairy_bliss. I will watch it properly for the first time (meaning all of it, in order and not dubbed) since I never had the chance before. I've almost finished the first season already and OH THE NOSTALGIA IT BROUGHT. I was surprised by how well I remembered some of it.
The episode where Joseph Gordon-Levitt guests as Eric's new BFF-who-really-wants-to-get-in-his-pants was so cute ! He looked so very young and his voice hadn't finished to break yet. I remembered JGL was in it before I got my hands on the show and it certainly helped me to watch the first part of the season faster. So yes, I'm enjoying the hell out of it, especially the 70's pop culture references, the retardedness of Kelso and the eerieness of Fez <3


As for soapland, sorry for exploding all over your flist but FUCK NOES I HAVE STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM THE FACT THAT JAKE AND VAN WILL BE IN MY COUNTRY IN JULY. I spent the week making up slightly batshit scenarios with fairy_bliss because nobody really knows the extent of our batshit behind closed doors but I will just say that it's quite epic and I often mortify myself.

I've discovered that I have a real problem with soaps. I apparently can't stop getting into them since I've discovered that they have the Best Gays. I clearly need an intervention.
So after a failed first attempt, I stubbornly tried Verbotene Liebe again and WHADAYAKNOW I fell in love with Christian and Oliver.
I was caught up with it in 4 days which seems ridiculously fast but since the show is often ignoring them and only write actual stories for them only once in a while (they're just standing there, giving advice to other characters the rest of the time and it's really offensive !) it was easy peasy.
I have some issues with the actual pairing because they are absolutely adorkable, but sometimes it's just all there is to them. Their drama is always short lived (when there is drama, which is not often) and they're not struggling enough.
With Nuke and Deniz/Roman, the struggles and the soul-crushing pain they go through is what make the fluffytiems so fucking rewarding. It's backwards with Ollian because I don't get excited by the long periods of fluff, I'm just bouncing madly everytime ANGSTIEM rears its awesome head (or simply when it focuses on them after a long period of 'let's just hang around and give advice', eh).
But despite this, I've grown attached to them because they really make a cute pairing.

I'm also ridiculously infatuated with Christian and have nicknamed him 'ptit poussin' (lil' chick) BECAUSE THAT'S JUST WHAT HE IS. He acts all tough and manly but really ? Schatz is a spectacular angsty woobie and his vulnerability makes me flail into oblivion.

Also I am shallow and I'D HIT THAT SO HARD I WOULD PASS OUT.






The actors are also awesomely dorky which of course helped. Watch them running around London like the fierce dorks they are.

The current storyline is very promising in the angst department though. Well I do know it will deliver since I've spoiled myself rotten ha ha ha. I can't wait !
