Yesterday was indeed the sad day where Kings came to an end for me and I'm still not over the frustrating ending.

No more Jack Benjamin crying all over the place or being devious and manipulative.

No more delightfully creepy Macaulay Culkin <333

No more MAGNIFICENT King Silas.

No more magical reverend Samuels.

No more conflicted yet efficient Thomasina.

No more cracky guards !

No more uber classy & ruthless Queen Rose.

No more of David's puppy eyes which had me exasperated most of the time but I'll probably miss his delicious scenes with Silas and Jack !

No more Michelle WOOT WOOT !

Oh and Joseph be still my heart forever and ever ♥


In conclusion Kings taught me that a fate worse than death = Het. Thank you for making this statement canon, show \o/


I found this lovely vid and I definitely realised that Jack is probably one of my all time favourite characters and that the show was taken from us way too soon DAMNIT.

But it's also a time for happy returns like the new series of the Sarah Jane Adventures starting this week YAY :

And an other completely unexpected return was the new Law & Order UK episode that popped up on the intrawebz and I sure hope that the rest will follow because DEAR GAWD I totally forgot how good that series was.

Freema is absolutely stunning and I really think that it's her best role by far. She did a great career move when she decided to pick Alesha because she really shines and I'm completely proud and impressed by her in this (not that I'm giving up my Marfa luv but she has more room to stretch her acting muscles in L&O and it's really showing).

My shippy heart was delighted to have good Alesha/James interactions and I was also *so pleased* to have Matt and Ronnie's awesome partnership on my screen again, and you know, Jamie Bamber's gorgeousness doesn't hurt one bit, same goes for Ben Daniels hot like burning. I won't talk about Freema. NO I DO NOT WATCH FOR SHALLOW REASONS.

The ending was unexpected and pissed me off but I guess that it was good for added realism. I loved that the procecutors fought so hard to work on the case though.

Merlin : twas my favourite episode of the new series so far and I SHIP EVERYONE WITH EVERYONE. Nobody was left out and it was properly glorious <3

Oh and speaking of Arthurian legend, THIS WEEK IS ALSO KAAMELOTT'S RETURN ON FRENCH TV YES ! Last series of the only french show we can be proud of <3

OMG this week so many more shows are returning ! I can't wait for the 2 hours premiere of House, I'm biting my nails for the Criminal Minds premiere, I'm extremely curious and excited about Dollhouse season 2 and I'm also happy for the returns of How I Met Your Mother and the Big Bang Theory. Another great week for telly, I hope !

Last night's Emmys were disappointing, no surprises there, but here's the single awesome bit :

I saw that most people were annoyed about it happening yet again but I'll admit that I can't get enough of Reid in peril because it was the reason that got me into the show after all.
Yes, I'm horrible like that.

About my last tweets, I may have reacted a tad strongly to the latest DW (as in DOCTOR WHO to avoid confusion :p) spoilers and I'm now much more resolved about it. It still annoys me and I have fear but I want to enjoy the regen specials so damn hard that I have to stop thinking about what could go horribly wrong and piss me off.


Oh and like the title of my post suggested, I did rewatch Love Actually earlier mostly because I'm seing The Boat That Rocked with tya_rc tomorrow and it had been a while but it still makes me grin like a loon and cry happy tears from beginning to end. I love that film like precious tasty pie.

Off to procrastinate some more on Gublerland ♥ Am currently rewatching the unauthorized documentaries, he's such a gigantic dork ♥

So yes, I'm back from my fabulous 4 days in London and we had a blast !

We did all the touristy things we had never done like Tussauds (2 hours spent doing extremely silly poses with the wax!people) and the London eye. I saw some parts of Camden that I didn't know before and hung around in Covent Garden which is a lovely part of the city. Hurm I'm QUITE ASHAMED by that particular part of the day because we stumbled upon the Ivy and fairy_bliss had to spell it out for me BECAUSE I COULDN'T REMEMBER THAT IT WAS THE RESTAURANT OF TENNANT/SIMM DRUNKEN PICTURES FAME. I died of embarassement afterwards and we stupidly forgot to go back and take some pics of it. *headdesk*

I bought two somethings from Topshop for the very first time. We (as in me and jedicathy) robbed the Forbidden Planet of almost EVERYTHING Watchmen related and put my Comedian and Ozy action figures to work on that night. I'm lucky I didn't break them (Ozy lost a leg at some point but we succeeded to put him back together lol).
I'm completely doing this out of order now but it doesn't matter.

We spend friday night at the Hawley Arms and had two englishmen buying us drinks :)

We saw James McAvoy's play, Three Days of Rain and it was very good. I prefered the past tale of the second act but I will never forget James doing totally gratuitous slutty hip moves on the mattress during the first act, because DAMN. We saw him afterwards and he was incredibly nice, he signed everyone's program and made sure that he did them all before going back in.

Sunday night was Watchmen in all its IMAX glory time and BOY WAS IT GLORIOUS. The scale matched Ozy's fierceness tremendously well. ephyse even ended up loving the film even though she loathed it the first time she saw it. We were quite pleased by that fact.

Monday, the fact of having slept something like 15 hours total during the weekend started to hit and we wnet through the days acting like knackered zombies but we got to eat at that delicious bento cafe in Camden that I love so it was all good. We also had some time for a second trip at HMV where I weirdLy ended up buying Nite Owl and Rorschach and Brideshead Revisited.

The whole weekend was also spent with me and fairy_bliss annoying ephyse to no end by singing Flight of the Conchords songs. ACE <3

There's pictures to go with all this but I haven't got them yet. I'll probably do a picspam later this week.


Since I got back, I spent a ridiculous amount of time procrastinating on ontd_ozy. I went to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist with fairy_bliss and jedicathy and I caught up with the latest Supernatural and the last ever Battlestar Galactica.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist was bloody ADORABLE. Mostly due to Michael Cera being himself and his fabulous gay band. I didn't expect gayness at all so all that surprise!gay was just the icing on the cake.

Supernatural 416 is all that everyone's gushing about and more. The Bro and I weren't let down in that respect and we also loved the incredibly dark tone. My brain doesn't compute the CW logo anymore.

However, THANK GODS that we restrained from seeing the Battelstar Galactica finale first because SPN would have lost 150 points of amazingness.

I STILL HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW FUCKING BEAUTIFUL THAT FINALE EPISODE WAS. I love how they closed those four epic years of struggle and some of those last shots took my breath away.

I spent the last 30 minutes of it crying. I even cried for the death of someone I never liked. And I cried again later that night watching a picspam of the episode ;__;

I saw that some people have problems with the last scene but I only thought it was made of 57 flavours of win upon watching it.

I am now excited as frak to go to THIS in a month \o/


I haven't had the strength to see the Flight of the Conchords finale yet because two amazing series ending for good on the same night would have been too much.


TONIGHT IS KAAMELOTT NIGHT !! AND WE'RE ALL GOING !! I REALLY REALLY REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO BE TONIGHT OMG ! *clings*

I'm going to wear the Perceval tee my bro got me for Christmas, it's only fitting that the first time I got to wear it is today :D

I was nowhere near teh intrawebs this weekend but I did catch up with last week's teevee.

In non watching news, here is something worthy to read :

All of the people that hated the Bad Wolf Bay scene with Rose and Handy from Journey's End ? Russell T. Davies basically earned loads of respect by giving us reason in his upcoming book.

Here's the interesting and incredibly insightful bit about what was wrong with that scene.

He's thoughts on the matter actually impressed me for once.
Too bad he didn't have the time to change it but it's very reassuring to know that he's aware he screwed up and wasn't thinking he was coming up with the best closure scene evar.

I totally pre-ordered it btw because every quote I've read from it so far are honest and not full of self-worship. It makes it look like it's going to be a fascinating read.

Seriously, EVERYTHING was made of epic win !

But *especially* Supernatural OMG ! It was amazing !

Bear in mind that I'm in a hardcore X Files mood at the moment because this week's guest star ? HAD ME SQUEEGASM TO DEATH.
