Thanks to sizeofthatthing and the fantastic PRON OF WRONGNESS versaphile wrote today, I am now completely sold on David Tennant/Derren Brown.

I need to rewatch the 2 Trick or Treat ASAP.

I spent a lovely day with jedicathy and it was \o/

We first ate at our usual japanese restaurant with daiyaa and ephyse and we talked mostly celebrity gossip during lunch. We laughed a lot anyway.

We then left them and headed for St Lazare's starbucks were we spent 2 hours talking about everything and nothing but mostly : the insane cuteness of Michael Cera and the FTW of Arrested Development.

Oh yeah because we're both watching AD now and I LOVE IT TO DEATH. It's fresh and original and they have a Gob. I love teh Gob. I fangirl v. hard over teh Gob. I love pretty much all the characters but yeah Gob cracks me up the most, I love magicians and intense voices so that figures. But I adore George Michael too because he has the cutest way of being awkward. Evar. And Buster reminds me of Ted from QaF for an unknown reason.

So yeah I'm currently watching season 1 and I got myself the 3 seasons on dvd.

We next went on the Champs Elysées to see 21 and jedicathy made me discover Jim Sturgess and I'll never thank her enough for that because OMG HE IS SO LOVELEY. I wasn't expecting anything other than finding him vaguely cute but not only is he a fantastic actor but he can be HOT AS HELL. He was mostly cute in 21 until he changed his wardrobe for Gucci suits *GUH*. He definitely made a convincing lead.



The movie was so good that Kate Bosworth didn't ruin it for me (you should have seen my face when I saw her name in the opening credits). Spacey and Fishburne were ACE as usual and I loved the relationship between Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey's characters. Yeah well, Cath and I rewrote the parts we didn't like in our heads, obviously. Because pairing the hero with Kate BLAHHHHH BLAAHHHHH was not an option. So we found ourselves giggling at the same scenes.

The soundtrack was also made of awesome and I'm still listening to it since I got it last night.





I need to get my hands on Across the Universe ASAP now because JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM.

I borrowed Superbad with Michael Cera from Cath and watched it last night while I was waiting for DW. Well the film is mostly just that, SUPER BAD but the last 15 minutes makes the suckfest of the rest totally worth it. BECAUSE IT WAS THE SLASHIEST LAST 15 MINUTES I HAVE SEEN IN A MOVIE FOR A LONG TIME. Seriously it was beautiful, sweet and completely surprising coming from this kind of movie. Also, the Michael Cera singing bit KILLED ME DED.

Last friday we went to the Parc Asterix with teh bro, angeliksmall, tya_rc and jedicathy and it was also FTW because thanks to the weather, the parc was nearly empty ! Yet all the rides were open and we only did about 15 minutes of queue for the Tonnerre de Zeus. I did the rollercoaster 4 times and all I got was a minor head trauma XD
We were brave and soaked ourselves in the Menhir Express twice. The first time was definitely the funniest moment of the day. We also did less entertaining rides (we did almost everything since there was no queue at all) like the lametastic ghost train. I guess it was only worth it to hear myself and tya_rc scream like retards the whole way through to spice things up a bit.
We're so doing this again next year !


Back to sizeofthatthing now. I can't believe how much this comm made my entire week *dirty grin*

Fucking strike ! I didn't mind last week when it gave me a 4 days weekend but not so much now that I went home one hour late *iz exhausted*

But I had the chance to wake up to THIS PIECE OF DOCTOR PRON NEWS this morning that totally made my day. Teh Hair made me speechless and horny. I just hope the Children in Need will be extra long this year and I wonder how they will explain Fivey's aging. Hee still ! Very exciting *harts teh five and multidoctors eps*

Anyway, I spend my whole sunday afternoon fucking around with photoshop and here's the result.

The freak is beating the Mister Master in the voting booth and there's only a few hours left. Mister Master is not pleased. Team Tiemcock is the only way to go. Vote nao.

That's what angeliksmall and I did all weekend between our marathon.*iz a dork*


We were quite efficient and saw pretty much everything.

I first caught up with angeliksmall, fairy_bliss and a special appearance (as in not planned) by jedicathy for a cosy breakfast at Starbucks.

Then I went home with cookie and galouz and we got started right away with :

- DWC 308 : the bit where David is terrible at the waltz. Very lolarious.
- The series 2 David Tennant diaries (I cannot wait for the DT s3 diaries ! Hopefully there will be a lot of fooling around with John Simm in it, right ?)
- DWC 310 : aka David Tennant is a gigantic Doctor Who dorky fanboy and is not afraid to show it.
- Recovery : I'm glad they loved it so much ! That was the first time I rewatched it and I was blown away by his acting skills, again.
- Shaun of the Dead : to cheer up after Recovery.

We then walked Galouz to the train station and continued with the squeefest.

Now I must point something out first. We were meant to dl and watch the numb3rs season premiere but *COOKIE* basically told me : "nevermind I'm such in a Tennant mood that I'd rather keep on watching his stuff". My brainwashing skills are off the scale. And it only got better this morning when we were meant to dl it *again* and she *again* dismissed it for John Simm this time. She's such a joy to be around at the moment.

So, saturday night we watched :

- Lots and lots of Doctor Who fanvids
- David Tennant on Parkinson
- Blackpool 101
- Secret Smile : we drooled hardcore on psycho!david and had a long conversation about the hotness factor of Brendan Block and the Master hooking up *is in a happy place*
- The Graham Norton Show with David Tennant. Hello I'm David and I'm going to take you from behind. Never. Gets. Old.

We also had a little chat in my room and while we were talking, mini!Ten ended up on the bed in an unsurprising slutty pose :

The morning we woke up with David again :

- Ready Steady Cook
- The West Wing Challenge

And then we watched some John Simm goodness, at last :

- The Life on Mars series one extras : where we learned that John swears a lot when he messes up his lines and that Philip Glenister has some trouble ennounciating Gene's lines, A LOT XD
- His episode of Spaced
- The first episode of The Lakes (with all the yummy nekkidness <3)

But cheated again with David by finishing with the second episode of Blackpool.

I then stuffed her external hard drive with most of the stuff we watched during the week end and while we did that, we had an hysterical laughing fit provoced by THIS.

We had a fantastic time but it felt too short !


In six days, we'll be both in England to see John Simm in the flesh on stage, we hope to get back alive but our level of excitement is already pressuring us so damn hard that the chances are very slim.
