Day 22 - A pairing that a lot of people ship, but you don’t

I know this one's pretty popular in the fandom but I just never could get behind Mitchell/Annie on Being Human. Never. Ever ever.
And I also don't really get the Annie worship. I like her fine but sometimes the whole series 3 run AHEM she grates on my nerves something fierce.

Honorable mention : Dean/Castiel (SPN). It's not that I'm against it per say but I've never really shipped it. And I'm not a hardcore Sam/Dean shipper either but I do miss the times before Castiel came into the picture (even if I like him).


Day 23 - An unpopular pairing that you like

Er... Er... Er... From Smallville : Jason/Lex? Or Lexana? Those were wildly unpopular in their time (at least in my Clex circle lol). I loved the former for its crack value and the latter because it was so dirty wrong. Upon recent rewatch, I still ship it.


Day 24 - A pairing you think are actually together behind-the-scenes, but it's not confirmed in canon



Plu-ease. Am I to believe that these two never did anything to deal with their scorching UST in the 900 years they've known each other? Let's get real.


Day 25 - A pairing that you have grown to like but didn't at first

Hmmmm. Nothing really comes to mind. I'm a total ship whore which means that if I ship it, I ship it instantly with the fire of a thousand suns :) (although I guess Lexana could do since the mere idea of it made me barf at first).


Day 26 - Favourite childhood pairing



A twitter chat with my nukies some time ago made me realize how incredibly similar they are in personality to Luke and Noah. How Mamoru was always super calm, strong and grounded yet always teased Usagi mercilessly? Yup that's Noah. And how Usagi could be super silly and overwhelmed by her emotions yet extremely determined and always wearing her heart on her sleeve? LUKE LUKE LUKE (a bit less bitchy I guess). It's quite mindbogglingly trufax.

Hum, hi, Luke & Noah? You know who should have had like, a glorious reunion after they resolved the triangle with Reid and a happy send off which would have pleased the fans who stood by them for 3 years and deserved it? YEAH, THOSE GUYS. I WASN'T EXACTLY THRILLED BY WHAT WE GOT INSTEAD.


Day 21 - A pairing you think gets too little attention



THEY JUST MAKE ME HAPPY MKAY.

I'm sure they get plenty enough of attention within the fandom but since I was out, I was completely unaware of how fucking AWESOMETACULAR they turned out to be! I so didn't expect to fall so hard for this pairing when I randomly decided to rewatch SV and they're now one of my favourite het pairing in the history of ever. I can't believe how much they made me squee and tear up in the last month (my views are probably biaised by the fact that I mainlined their eps, mind). I wasn't even expecting to watch so many Lexless episodes but they completely sucked me right back in. I love the direction the show took and I love what it has become post dumb & dumber Millar & Gough. And of course, they'll never replace or top the Clex but as far as canon go, I couldn't be more satisfied.

So I am all caught up with Smallville and ready to follow the final batch of episodes yet to be aired, YUS. 92 episodes in a little less than a month *BREATHES* my brain survived... I think.

I'm enjoying season 10 a lot! I loved the Darkseid/VRA stuff and of course, the Luthors/Alexander aka Conner Kent aka CLARK AND LEX'S GENETIC LOVECHILD (Lois's words). I particularly loved Lazarus, Homecoming, Harvest, Luthor, Beacon, Fortune (SO MANY THINGS CANNOT BE UNSEEN THANKS TO THIS CRACKTACULAR EP) and Scion.

The only thing I wasn't happy about was how Tess is now so close to the good guys. I can't really picture her doing justice to Mercy anymore and I really wanted her to take Lex's side when he will come back but I can't see that happening now :/. Idk idk. I'm not totally against the idea that she's Lionel's daughter but I'm really not happy that she took over Watchtower. Seeing her invited to Lois's hen night was just so... Bizarre. I do like that her character is so nuanced and her last scene with Lionel in Scion has given me hope for the future. Cassidy Freeman is hands down the most talented actress from the cast, she is incredible. I really hope that she'll do well after Smallville.

So I've seen 6 eps (8 but 2 I'm trying to block from memory) of season 8 and as I gathered, I don't need to see more because this season wasn't very good (I heard about the Naman/Sageeth retcon, which BLASPHEMY. Didn't see it but I'm also trying to block this info from memory). I really loved Identity and Hex, though.

On the other hand, Season 9 is seriously one of the best season this show ever had, FOR REAL OMG IT'S SO GOOD. It's so good I went back and dl'ed more. It's also *the clois season*. Oh, and about that...
OMG THE CLOIS GUYS I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP IT'S TEARING ME APART /FLAILS X INFINITY. It's giving me flashbacks to my preteen years when I was all over Lois & Clark : The New Adventures of Superman except OMG SO MUCH AWESOMER.

Lois has become my favourite character on the show. HER SASSINESS. HER WITS. HER BAMFTASTIC BAMF WAYS OF BAMFINESS. I love her, I wanna be her and I wanna do her, the end.
She pretty much already reached her iconic status. Clark is almost there.

Other good things about SV's latter seasons :

- Tess Mercer aka MERCY (Where is Hope, eh? Eh? Eh?) is AKLDJASLKJDALKDJ PITCH PERFECT. Hard as a nail and completely ruthless. She's totally worthy of becoming Lex's right arm in the future.

- Oliver Queen has become a slutty manwhore with Epic Manpain who either fucks around, drinks himself to death or cries mantears of angst, sometimes all three at once. My only issue about this is that he's doing much worse than Lex and yet isn't portrayed as teh Evilest Evil of Evilness like Lex was in say, Bound when Clark lectured him about the wrongness of one night stands. But it's ok, I know that THIS happens to him in s10 and just for that, THANK YOU, SHOW.

- LOIS, who is awesome.

- Chloe running Watchtower is massively cool and I'm happy she found her calling.

- Lex isn't there anymore but is namechecked regularly and sometimes does fake cameos (although I'm trying to forget about Requiem forever *cringes*). LANA HAS BEEN COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN HAHAHA. HELL TO THE YES.

- THEY HAVE FELIX MOTHERFUCKING GAETA AS A RECURRING CHARACTER.

- LOIS, who is awesome.

- Callum Blue as Major Zod is HAWT and I like having a brit in Smallville. However, he will forever be Belle's bf from series 2 of SDOACG for me, so lulz.

- Clark's journey is amazing. TOM WELLING IS A FINE PIECE OF MANMEAT.

- LOIS. LOIS. LOIS. LOIS. WHO IS AWESOME.

Jealousy Clex picspam | Again, latter seasons Clex is so underrated! Lana was such an excuse and it stayed clear that everything they did had nothing to do with her and everything to do with hurting each other. Loved loved loved how twisted it all was. Also, their ending was just *so* beautiful I wanna draw hearts, unicorns and rainbows all over it (it was so perfect in fact that I really hope they don't ruin it with the S10 finale... Hm.).

Day 4 - Favourite siblings



The Salvatore Bros are BOSS. Granted I haven't been watching for long but they are badass and lolarious with each other. They just ROCK. And to think they were one of the main reason I didn't want to watch this show for the longest of time. Hahaha.

This one was *so* difficult. I just couldn't choose since one choice made me guilty as hell to not pick the other so... You get two absolute favourite.

Day 2 - Favourite slash pairing



One reason I couldn't choose between these two is that I *know* that the Doctor/Master is still on the back of my mind and just on stand by. As soon as they get Benedict Cumberbatch a Master for Eleven, I'll be hardcore all over it again. They're it for me because they are forever, literally.

On the other hand, I couldn't NOT pick Nuke since it had such a massive influence on me for almost two years now. I hadn't felt that for a pairing since, well, my massive Team Timecock love. Despite the fact that the show ended last september, I'm still in the fandom and still full of Nuke love. Also, VAN AND JAKE. Their epic awesomeness/dorkitude/snark/hawtness/BFFness isn't going anywhere so NEITHER AM I.

Honorable mention aka my past biggest OTPs : Harry/Draco (HP), Clark/Lex (SV), Brian/Justin (QaF US) and Howince | Noelian (Mighty Boosh). I enjoy plenty of other pairings but these are the only ones where I really got myself into the fandoms.

Speaking of Clex, I've started a 'best of' Smallville marathon. I meant to do it since I heard that Michael Rosenbaum would appear in the series finale and I decided I'd tune in again for nostalgia's sake (I gave up on SV halfway through S7). Doing it now was actually prompted by a convo I had with my fellow clex lover nicelyobsessed (that's how we met... 6 years ago, blimey Cookie!) and OMFG I REMEMBER WHY I FELL SO HARD FOR THIS PAIRING. Like, I'm only watching s2 episodes right now but the subtext between Clark and Lex was so amazing in those days, I just want to throw up rainbows all over my screen.

If you've ever wondered where my ridiculous username came from then now you know that I'm a former hardcore Rosenbaum stan. HAI.
