** I am gutted about Legend of the Seeker's cancellation. GUTTED.
It needed at least another season of Cara and Kahlan's Epic Femslashy Love. Of Richard's Abs. Of badass fights and fierce Hairography. Of Lord Rahl's fabulousness. Of Zedd's incredible cockblocking skills. OF THE MINDBLOWING CRACK & LULZ THAT IT BROUGHT WEEKLY INTO MY LIFE.
Thank you for all of these, show. You were fantabulous and gone way too fast, I'll never forget you.






** I've completely fallen for yet another soap storyline (it's only like, my 5th... Hahaha.). This time it's Aaron's story from the british soap Emmerdale. It's actually a departure from the way gay storylines are usually treated in soaps and one of the most realistic, riveting, raw and heartbreaking story I've seen yet. It really takes twists and turns that are original and sometimes quite difficult to take in. The writing and acting are absolutely brilliant. Danny Miller is only 19 but is hopefully promised to a great acting career. His tears already have almost as much power as the mighty Simmtears ! (I've picspammed the sheer beauty of it here). Aaron is a very complex and damaged character which is why he is fascinating to watch.

Brand New Day by humansrsuperior is an Epic Ode to the wonderfulness of Eleven n Amy. There's a bit of Matt n Karen thrown in for good measure and it's just incredibly awesome and flawlessly edited. IT MADE ME SQUEE AND FLAIL ALL OVER. So go watch.

A Crack in the Skin of the Universe by zabbers is a fantastic ficlet set during the current series but from the Master's pov. I WOULD ACTUALLY DIE IF SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED IN THE SHOW. But I bet it won't, damnit. Can you tell that I'm already hitching for the Master to come back ? C'mon Moffat, you know what to do in series 6.

And last but not least, eleventy_kink because he's worth it.

I waited, I waited and then, I waited some more. It was a long wait, until my dl finished in 10 minutes tops and I FINALLY saw it.

Even if the slash was misdirected this week, the episode in itself was absolutely brilliant !

That was such a great episode ! Especially for Chris O'Dowd from the IT Crowd and surprisingly James Nesbitt which I didn't know could be funny.

I currently watching the one with Jessica Stevenson and I had seen it before but the wrestling/kissing part is amusing me to no end because he really looks like he could break like a stick XD

I'm still not over the Mighty Boosh extras *points to new icon* AW GREGG WHY DID THEY CUT YOU OUT ? WOOOOOOOE.
And I could watch Noel and Julian performing Married on the Morrow all day, seriously. Their love is dripping from my computer screen and it makes my fingers slip on the keyboard ADJLKJ.

Speaking of, THEIR LOVE ON BIG SCREEN ? BEST THING EVAR Y/Y ? Not that it would ever get a french release, mind you. Not that I would go to England specially to see teh Love in its cinematic glory. At all.

I also read a Howince valentine fic earlier where there's Howard falling for a microphone called Tina Marie because of a love curse that backfired, Vince falling for Howard because of a magic candy heart that ended in his flirtiny by mistake and the vengeful spirit of bad Karaoke coming after them for a terrible duo they did on "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas.
I cracked my shit up, it may have been the best Valentine fic I've ever read.

I'm stupidly staring at Dean Winchester who's been frozen for a good half hour while I was writing this. I should get on with it or else jedicathy might come at me like a violent quiche *hides*


But not before ending on *that* smoking hot pic of Martha because it does things to me. *happy place*

So last night, I had the insane idea that I should reread the whole Doctor/Master section of my big fic rec post of doom (which I still update btw) in order.

As a result, my brain is a mess. I have less than 2% braincells left that are not completely infected by Doctor/Master thoughts.
Although that's a state of mind that I'm not exactly complaining about.

I'm currently up to dwseason4 and I have to say, as much as I already love Donna, the Master as the series 4 companion is the biggest missed opportunity in the hystory of ever. It would have made an incredible, incredible series. *clings to the brilliant fic version*


As for recent must reads, here's some personal suggestions :

Exposure by versaphile John Simm/David Tennant. A three parter RPS fic that is highly inspirational, if you're into that sort of thing (how could you not *cough*)

Crazy in Love by shaggydogstail Ten/Master. The latest crack!fic by the Queen of Crack. I love those silly ancient gallifreyan gods to death. And that's where my icon is from btw (made by the ever so useful and talented snowgrouse)

The impossiblities series also by versaphile Ten/Jack. A lovely AU that makes a change from all the post LotTL Ten/Jack stories. They're absolutely adorable (and hot) in this.

RTFM (Read The F*cking Manual) by nostalgia_lj Ten/Martha. Hilarious gallifreyan sex ed course. Ten couldn't be more spot on.


In other news, Black Books is killing me to death with lolarity, FOR REALZ. I'm so glad I got around to start watching it because I haven't laughed this hard since say, my first watching of the Office US.
