The Brigadier was such an iconic character from the show's history and he was quite involved with my favourite era of classic Who. I loved him deeply. I was happy to see him back on SJA, even if I wished that they had time to make him come back on the mother show (especially with Eleven). Nick seemed like a wonderful man as well. He will be sorely missed.

The legend of the Brig lives on forever.
