I had an awesome Birthday with champagne, chinese food, delicious cake and lots of awesome gifts (mostly dvd boxsets of Fry n Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory and some cd's, the Drums and Broken Social Scene).

I spent an awesome saturday with the bro, fairy_bliss, jedicathy and tya_rc at the Rock en Seine music festival. We saw the Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club (totes my favourite gig of the entire day. Also, their drummer is Billy Magnussen's doppelganger, it's so freaky !), Queens of the Stone Age and Massive Attack. Great line up and we had a blast, even if we were knackered when we came back home around 1:30 am. But it was completely worth it, just like last year.
Next year we'll try and level up to Glastonbury though, I hope we'll make it !

Speaking of Who, I'm pretty happy with the big news of today (that's the awesome vid itw). I prefer my Who spread out over the year, less gap that way. Also, like marah_sarie pointed out to me, it might mean weekends made of Who and Sherlock in Autumn AND WE WOULD WANT THAT Y/Y/Y/Y/Y/Y/Y/Y/Y ?
I'm terrified of the mid series cliffhanger tho, I think the Moff probably will up his game and kill us all.

Would you play gay again in future projects?

JAKE: Of course. I would happily play any character no matter what sexual orientation they are, as long as there is something about the character in terms of story. I am not sure I would go and play a gay character on another daytime show. But in that sense, I do not say to myself, “Well I have done the gay thing.” I just want to keep playing interesting characters. I would love to play a gay vampire on True Blood. I just love that show.

And that came out the same day fans reported that Van told them he wouldn't mind playing naked on True Blood.
