This was gorgeous drama.

Toshiko broke my heart in this and Naoko was stunningly beautiful. The guest actor who played Tommy was awesome as well and the plot very interesting.

And I'm almost sorry to say this but even if he used to be one of the biggest unbearable git of the history of television, if they keep going down this path with Owen I will start to love him for good. Now he's useful, kind and supportive ! And really really sweet. I loved the subtle reference to his own heartbreak from series 1.

And of course the Janto scene was full of fangirlish glee (this is the infamous 2 minutes snog that will be in the deleted scenes of the future dvd boxset right ? :D).

I was getting teary during the last half of the episode but I really broke down at the astral projection scene. I loved how stong and resolved Tosh was facing a completely lost and confused Tommy. The last scene between Tosh and Owen was heartbreaking as well Owen is a sweetheart and I loved that the ending bit tied up with the opening sequence, same song different tone. The Tosh of the beginning was all bright and giddy and here, you could really see her struggling to hold back the tears as she walked away (kuddos to Naoko <3)

*ponders putting some Moby songs back in her mp3 player*

I have a complaint though, they gave us no time at all to let the beauty of the last scene sink in. I mean I was still in tears when next week's trailer was thrown in my face so I couldn't enjoy it at all -_-


Definitely my favourite TW episode so far this series ♥

I am actually shipping them now, since Owen keeps being acceptable as a decent character (but yeah... Feels a bit weird !)

totally agree... nearly nothing to had... except that I'm really begining to love the Jack/Ianto thing (now that Ianto doesn't look like a little baby with calf eyes anymore)

and tommy was TOTALLY AWESOME !!! XD

and even Gwen is prettier (always stupid but prettier).

Word, my friend, word.

I'm already shipping Owen/Tosh like whoa really liking Owen and Tosh's interactions this season, now that Owen is all grown up. I'm even finding myself drooling over Burn, sometimes, which is quite something o_O

But then again, Torchwood is so *beautiful* those days... Seriously, the direction is just perfect and each image is like a work of art. So much, actually, that I kept wanting to make screencaps of everybody when I was doing the caps for GDL.com. Particularly of Naoko ♥ ♥ ♥


And as far as guilty pleasures go, I think I'm starting to develop a light crush on Ianto/Gwen... Not enough to want it to happen or to look for it in fanon - mind you, WE HAS AN ONSCREEN SLASH OTP WHICH CAN'T BE TOPPED - but I'm looking forward to their scenes now. If only those could replace the Gwen/Jack Scenes of Doom...


Duh, liking Owen, wanting him to be with Tosh, liking Gwen and enjoying the vague idea of her with Ianto... I swear, this season of TW is doing weird things to me o_O
