I've had a great weekend and my grandparents were very well. I had missed my gran's cooking <3

So thanks to my ability to wake up every two hours until I find a dl for something I REALLY WANT to see, I had the Friday Night Project with me and I also found the time to watch the Ashes to Ashes finale. Yes, I'm aware that everybody has surely already posted about it.

TEH FNP WAS HUUUUUUUUUUUGE ! I'm so glad I could squee about it with angeliksmall because DEAR GAWD, David Tennant is a very charming individual.


THAT TIGHT SUIT HE WAS WEARING WAS ALL KINDS OF PHROAR.

I never thought I would hear David Tennant make a joke on Sarko, and I love how he said his name XD So much lulz.
Well I was pretty much cracked up during the whole thing anyway.
I especially loved the counceling session with the three and the sequence in the supermarket.
AND AND AND HOW VICIOUS HE WAS WHEN HE HAPPILY ZAPPED THE CONTESTANTS OF THE QUIZZ (Freema was unbearably cute being all scared XD).
I must say that if I'd had found him tied up on a bed, in his pants, calling for help ? My impulse wouldn't have been to run off but I wouldn't have untied him either *smile*
HAIR RUFFLING ACTION OF SECKS \o/

And then my favourite part : "I tend to go for The Master in situations like that." *CRASHBURNSDIES*

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I have a pretty good idea about which partner he must be wrestling with to earn that title.


Finally, Freema Agyeman is a darling and makes quite a decent Dicaprio *dies of teh cute*


Ashes to Ashe's finale was MENTAL. I love how they're throwing everything out of the window. I equally laughed and cried and gasped.


GENE HUNT IS A TIME LORD MKAY.
He's been assigned to watch over the rehabilitation of fobwatched rogue timeys. Because yes, when he said that Sam died and they never found his body, it was in fact at the time of Jacobi!Master's regeneration Y/Y ?
snowgrouse is right, Alex is OBVIOUSLY the fobwatched Rani. *will cry if they cast somebody other than Keeley in the role*
There's also the fact that Gene doesn't grow older, only hotter. *thud*

In all seriousness :
Ray is SUCH a closet case.
Alex driving the pink tank was made of win.
I cheered when Shaz got better and when Alex said that she was her favourite construct <3
I was so *glad* that Evan was innocent because it was way too obvious.
I had spotted the likeness between Alex's father and the Bowie clown but I was surprised that he was responsible for blowing up the car.
The scene where Gene took lil' Alex's hand STOPPED MY HEART. That was so unexpected !
The parallels between the scene where Gene holds Alex in his arms and the one from the pilot was gorgeous.
The tape broke my heart.
GENE HUNT IS MY FUCKING HERO.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SERIES 2 *clings*
