So I was thinking about posting something about my first rewatching of XF season 8 since it first aired for a few days now. You know like, OMG I DIDN'D REMEMBER I LIKED DOGGETT THAT MUCH. Or, or, I love Doggett and Scully's conflicted relationship and I love how protective he is of her.

And then tonight happened. O.M.F.G.

I just watched Per Manum/This Is Not Happening/DeadAlive back to back and I burst into tears during each episodes. I AM AN EMOTIONAL WRECK.

I didn't remember at all how painful it was to watch Mulder's return, I had only seen those episodes once (in french, bleh) and I wasn't expecting this AT ALL.

Gillian Anderson, just. JUST. *hand motions*
She's mindblowing. Scully's pain was unbereable to watch. She played sorrow and despair almost as perfectly as teh Tennant in this.

Oh and from the little I've seen, Reyes is hotter than I remembered and very very cute.
I'm happy Mulder's back but I HAS FIERCE LOVE FOR JOHN DOGGETT. (And Alex who made Skinman his bitch <3333333333 HE'S HOT LIKE BURNING.).

I AM SO HAPPY THE MOVIE IS SUCH A FEW DAYS AWAY.


So hum, my weekend in v. v. v. short :

Friday night I went to the Mika concert at the Parc des Princes stadium with jedicathy, angeliksmall, fairy_bliss, tya_rc, ephyse and daiyaa and it was as fabulously spectacular and bouncy as I'd hoped it would be.
He played a *wicked* cover of Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough <333 and a new song at the piano which was very beautiful.

On Caturday, jedicathy, fairy_bliss, angeliksmall and tya_rc went to my place so we could all watch DW's finale together. Well, despite the finale it was awesome ! We watched Genesis of the Daleks beforehand, some arrested development and Let's Go To Prison (<3). We all reacted badly to the finale's ending but we also laughed very loud during and enjoyed the first 45 minutes, until that point it was great XD I calmed them down by subjecting them to Doctor Who : The Movie (which I can't help loving despite its badness. I have such a crush on eight.). We went for a walk in the middle of the night and watched Arrested Development til dawn when we got back. Then we saw the Confidential at something like 6 am and fairy_bliss and I were in tears during the last 15 minutes (Seriously Sigur Ros + That Unspeakable Thing That Hapenned To Donna ? Were they trying to kill us or what ?? GAH.).

I also managed to catch up with BSG season 4, which was very good even if it was slightly less good than season 3


Since Gaius could have been used better, kthx.

But I adored :

The Cylon's civil war plot, which was the most interesting of the season.

GAETA SINGING OMFG *curls up in a ball and weeps*

Tyrol in general <3

Adama's reaction after he found out that Tigh was one of the Final Five. It's one of the best scene from the entire series.

Lee as a frakking awesome president (He bored me most of the season and I loathed his hair :/ So I was relieved that I liked him again by the end)

Helo wanting to save the eights <3

THEY FOUND EARTH AND I SQUEED AS MUCH AS THEM. Even if it looks like the Apocalypse has happened there.


Oh and just to conclude :

WILL PENNSWORTH FOR COMPANION. That is all.

I'm late responding to comments but I didn't found the time tonight, yet again *facepalm*

EDIT : and Happy Birthday to the hottest of all the Johns in the world <3333 (not looking 38 at all !). HOPE TO SEE YOU WITH THE HOTTEST OF ALL THE DAVIDS IN THE WORLD AGAIN SOMETIME SOON, KTHXBAI.

I have nothing but &hearts for Helo - he, Baltar and Starbuck are the reason I kept on watching when I first started. And BTW, how pawsome was the Adama/Roslin "About time" Thing? And I'm with you on Lee, even if I couldn't stand it until Romo "made" him President. (Romo FTW!!)

Helo is the only character with moral values on the fleet XD I'm usualy not fond of do gooders but with Helo it's completely refreshing. I loved him since season 1 as well and Gaius is my favourite character <3

The Adama/Roslin thing was just that, ABOUT TIME lol. I'm glad that they tied some loose ends with plot points that were dragging since the beginning of the show this season.

I usually love Lee but yeah, he was SO BORING until Romo made it better. I was almost wishing him to get fat again to make things a little more interesting XD

I did! I was part of the campaign to get him back on hah.
We met him at Dragon*Con and he finally said "Yes I'm back!"
And all the other guys of the BSG cast were like "SO NOW YOU CAN STFU" :p

We were epically annoying. :)

I had the oddest experience.
I loved him so much and chatted with him on the forums, but when I met him in person it sort of backlashed.
I really don't like him. I wouldn't want to talk to him again, but I do still squee when I see Romo. XD

Well at the con I went there was this meet&greet thing where we all sat at tables and the guest went to each one to chat with us. We were quite the interesting/odd table since we were the only bunch of french fangirls and Mark ended up talking the longest with us because he went on a tour with his band in France during the 80's. We also found him very funny during the guest talk. But of course, you could have caught him on a bad day (I'm just assuming since I don't know what happened :))

And he can be quite funny.
