So this week's teevee watching has been globally brilliant and since I already reviewed Heroes and House, here's the rest :
How I Met Your Mother 4x01
OMG WOOBIE!BARNEY FTW ! I love that they're taking the character into new territories without betraying his identity (so far). I love MOAR that they're doing this with Robin because I might have been a little bit excited by the prospect last season. Robin is better suited for Barney anyway (see what I did thar ? XD). I'm also still surprisingly ADORING Ted (since season 3 ! I don't know what happened there but my love for him does seem to go on). His fanboying of Star Wars was the cutest thing ever <3
On the other hand I despise Stella and can't wait for her to GTFO of the show.
Lost In Austen 104
Well not much to say about the ending apart from a GIGANTIC *FLAIL*. I loved that they had the guts to go with their changes by the end because I couldn't see how they would made us care about Darcy and Lizzy falling for each other anymore. This Darcy may have pwned Colin Firth in my heart which I would have never believed possible judging by episode 1 and 2. His character was handled brilliantly and so were the others. Alex Kingston was hilarious in the last one and Wickham and Bingley were particulary yummy in this version. Amanda was very easy to sympathize with and I approved of all her actions til the (extremely squee inducing) end.
Supernatural 4x02 - Are You There God ? It's Me, Dean Winchester
LOLZ ! For the title alone this episode is worth it. I loved seing great characters from the past haunting Dean and Sam and story-arc wise, I still adore where this is all going (Apocalypse, please).
Bobby was made of 57 flavours of awesome, as Dean pointed out and Castiel was Hot. Like. Hell. when he was all 'show me some respect, bitch' to Dean. I am very excited for next week.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl 204
I'm very happy about the rivalry between Ben and Cute!Doctor and I adored that awkward diner scene to pieces ! I guess people who watch mostly for the eye candy are disapointed but I'm not since I also embrace the drama.
Next week looks extra shippy with the hints dropped about Ben, hee.
The Office 5x01
AWESOME SEASON PREMIERE ! I love Holly and her awkwardness (lolz at the scenes with Oscar and Kev), she's a great match for Michael. Ryan's comeback as the new receptionist was THE GREATEST BIT. I loved his interactions with both Kelly and Michael. And when I thought I was over Jim/Pam ages ago, the wet proposal made me squee like mad ! It was so adorable <3
Ugly Betty 3x01
Aaaaw I was smiling like a loon when it was over, I really love the positive message of the show <3 I mean apart from its hilarious bitchiness, of course.
Betty was made of win, Marc and Amanda following her around because they missed her clumsiness was also very cute XD
Wilhelmina rocks my socks and I shall enjoy her glee while it lasts.
Aaand hullo thar cute neighbour !
Merlin 102
BWAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha...Haha..Ha.
Well it's still rubbish and this week with bad CGI snakes and excellent slashy vibes between Merlin and Arthur.
I'm starting to like Arthur in fact, and Merlin is still a little ball of cuteness. Morgan is stunningly beautiful *_*
It's still very pleasant to watch, especially on a sunday afternoon.
Old Who
I took a detour from Three to watch the Daleks and now that it's the second serial I've seen with the original Team TARDIS, I can say that I'm rather fond of them !
One is a bit great and Barbara and Ian are made of sheer win ! I can see why they get so much love now. And I have one hell of a crush on Barbara.
I especially loved the bit when Ian got inside a Dalek, THAT WAS SO AWESOME OMG !
I don't really know how I feel about Susan though, she can be cute but her hysterical screams are so bloody irritating.
All in all it was awesome.
I'm really glad for all the Old Skool I still have to catch up with when I think of the future lack of DW next year.
STILL. Tomorrow is the return of the Sarah Jane Adventures and I CANNOT WAIT (judging by last night's dream which included me and her fighting sontarans, I really can't).
I'm also a bit sad by the fact that Rusty's book hasn't arrived and I have to use all the willpower to not read every single extract posted on the intrawebs (I've already seen too much, argh).
