At least his speech makes the world a little right again.

This is bloody ridiculoius. Gay marriage had only been legalized in may and it's already made illegal once again!! Of course conservatives couldn't just let it go...

But who is this guy? What is this show? (gives you a little bit of faith in humanity, doesn't he?)

Right, RIGHT ?

It's Keith Olberman, from what I gather, he's a news presenter on a US cable channel. So it dind't have a massive number of viewers when this aired but judging by my flist's pimpage and the amount of reposting on youtube, I guess it is popular now via the web.

LOL, his show Countdown is almost always in the top three cable news shows every single night. He's amazing. I think there are video and audio podcasts of it.

Not that this guy talking changes anything but yes i'm rather depressed about the whole thing. I mean there are lots of places still not defining same sex union as marriage which is rather crappy, like my country for example but the fact that it was legal and they've gone backwards. tsk tsk.

It may change nothing but I still am glad that he made his voice heard with a beautiful, powerful speech.

I know ! The backwards thing makes it even more sad. it's like there's no hope for a real change regarding the 'common' mentality.

*hugs you*

I can't get my head around the fact that they withdrawned a right that they already had the chance to have, it's just plain sad.

Even if he made it known that he was not particulary for gay marriages, I can only hope with you.
