OMGWTFBBQ ??? Ricky Gervais guest starred in one episode of Alias season 3 O_o

He played a bomb maker in 3x15 'Facade' which incidently is easily the best episode of the season. I didn't remember a thing from it and was left at the edge of my seat gasping for 40 minutes, IT WAS BRILLIANT. So of course, when I saw that they hired Ricky Gervais of all people to play the dangerous irish mercenary, I went 'wait, WOT. How am I supposed to take him seriously ?' but turns out he did a *marvelous* job ! He really is a great actor ♥

I'm late on everything except House. Indeed, it's not because I'm not talking about it much these days that I have lost interest. It's just that I took a giant step back from the House fandom because the fact that it's 99% filled with 13 haters and House/Wilson batshippers completely gutted by Huddy did start to seriously harsh my squee. I usually seek opinions on the eps before I can get my hands on them and I ended up convinced that I would hate last week's episode. When I bothered watching it 3 days later, I found myself loving it to bits so that's when I realised that I had to back off from the fans before it was too late.

So this week on House : I'm getting a soft spot for the new dynamics.

13/Foreman is both very sweet and mature so I'm pretty much sold for further developments. I'm glad 13 is getting the attention she deserves, I loved her during the hostage situation last week and she was very interesting in this one as well. Loved the scene where she got over her insecurities and went to help the Huntingtons patient. I love how Foreman seemed to both care and have a profound respect for her.

The Taub/Kutner scam was hilarious because I just knew it would bite them in the ass before the episode was over. House scaring them shitless with the not!dead!hooker was priceless.

House/Cuddy, now that's a tricky one. I don't want them to go for it in the end but how I love their scenes ! Their banter made me die of laughing because they are both so fierce *ded*
But when the tone got more serious and they adressed their current issues over the 'will we, won't we' situation (with bonus boob grabbing), well, I also loved it. I love the way the actors played it and the dialogue. I love Wilson popping by to comment on the matter (since there's so little Wilson these days, it must mean that the rest is really good to be able to keep me from wondering where he is every 2 seconds). I also loved the desk thing (after all the crap they put each other through the episode, it was so cute !) and Cuddy's genuine smile, and I loved seing that smile falter when she saw House with the hooker in his office. I'm hoping that the last scene implied that they will not go there in the end. I think House/Cuddy works infinitely better when they leave it at UST. So yes, I think it's well handled so far and my appreciation of it will depend on what they have in store for the rest of the season.

Ricky Gervais - I knew I've seen this man before but couldn't remember where!!! I agree that 3x15 is the best in the season.

I don't read about House 'cause I can't watch it now.
