THAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY LEVEL OF COHERENCE I CAN COME UP WITH RIGHT NOW.

Tonight I had an epiphany, you know when, in the Mighty Boosh episode 'Party', Vince makes his magnificent entrance and some dude says 'Is he Christ ?' ? WELL. I went to the IAMX concert in Paris and I played the part of that dude tonight.

Best. Concert. Of. My. Life. FOR REALZ.

I can't put in words what it felt watching them live but it was something I had never ever experienced in a concert before.

CHRIS CORNER OMFG.

Now, I'm so not the type to fangirl bands or singers, I always go to a concert or listen to an album because I'm into the music and I love, love, LOVE music.
Chris Corner never did anything for me since I've always found him fugly in pics BUT. The bastard just showed me the error of my ways by being the very definition of erotism on stage. OMGNOTFAIR. He crushed me under his giant charisma and his incredibly, incredibly gorgeous voice. He was dressed like a debauched dandy and was so visibly getting off on singing his wee heart out IN THE SEXIEST WAY POSSIBLE that I was enthralled and couldn't take my eyes of him from beginning to end.

Their songs live blew my mind with such intensity that I went into an electro trance. I loved IAMX before but hearing them live unveiled a whole new level of incredible WIN.
They played my all time favourite and I went completely batshit. We were about 5 meters from the stage (at first because we finished the concert 2 meters from it thanks to a mini riot XD) and everyone was hitting everyone because of the crazy bouncing and dancing in a very tight space. I swear I'm going to be covered in bruises tomorrow *sore* BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

By favourite I meant of course Song of Imaginary Beings

Which is hot all right but has nothing on the live version *has a hard time recovering*

This Will Make You Love Again was the first song they played for the (extremely long and satisfying) call back and Chris Corner, that bastard, made me......... Cry.

WHAT HAPPENED THERE SRSLY. I don't know, it became too overwhelming for some reason and I realised I was in tears, what ? Then he said 'now I want you to dance' and the next minute I was bouncing like nothing happened, because HE SAID SO. Oh Chris. FOR SHAME, I would hit that so hard he would probably break.

Their new songs from the upcoming album were also ACE. I seriously can't wait for the release (when, when, WHEN ?? OMG)


WHY SO INCREDIBLY BRILLIANT IAMX ? WHY SO INCREDIBLY SEXUAL CHRIS CORNER ?



I lost ephyse in the crowd and looked for her when it ended. I was off my tits on delirious glee by then and we saw each other. We had a silent conversation from each side of the room and we realised that we were in the exact same state of mind blown. OUR MINDS : IT R CONNECTED. We spent our way home squeeing like crazy about the unexpected hotness of Chris and the amazingness of their live performance.


Last concert of the year, best concert of the year. It couldn't have been more perfect ♥

And now I still can't sleep because I'm way too excited. I'm listening over and over to Think of England (SOAWESOMEITHURTSWANTTHENEWALBUMNAO) and iconing fug pics of Chris Corner because I WANT HIM TO INVADE MY....... ICON SPACE.

OMG what an embarrassing post.

I totally agree in everything. It wa amazing and hot and perfect and OMG!! And so different than the first time I saw them.
Chris Corner is just the HOTNESS guy I ever saw.
And it confirmed that they're better in live than in CD.
It was crazy. I'm still in the OMG mood and I sing the songs all the time XD
Can't wait for the next CD (yes, WHEN?!!), and then for the next gig.
