The Merlin extras, man ♥
They made me fall in love with the cast all over again ! They definitely make the sweetest, most fun and easy going cast ever, by the look of it.
Colin was adorable, BRADLEY just totally and *utterly* priceless and Katie surprised me in a very good way.
I just loved when Colin controls planes with magic and when Bradley fake!bullies him. They all seem to get on so well <3
The No Heroics extras were also all kinds of GREEEEAAAT.
The creator of the series is a ginormous comics geek and about 16015344356 comics references were hidden in the Fortress, which they all listed here. He was mostly inspired by Watchmen ♥
The making of showed yet another fun crew of lovely people but I'm afraid there's a very final feel to it. They took down the Fortress set halfway through shooting (I yelled ' OH NO !') and they showed the last day the actors were all together and they did an emotional group hug.
Ah well, it will be another one of those extremely short english masterpieces, like Nathan Barley ;__;
The bloopers were funny and the Power Hour interviews were *hilarious* especially the Excelsior one and the Timebomb one XD
Timebomb has also 2 extended scene, one with Fusebox in the toilets (filthier) and one with the Prince in the limo (just LULZ).
Ah Timebomb <3
I also watched Dollhouse and it was soooo awkward !
I kinda liked it and was intrigued enough to keep watching for now but the pilot was far from great.
I like Tamoh's character so far but I can't give an opinion on Echo because I'm not sure where they want to take her next. I also enjoyed former!vilain from Firefly and Amy Acker's character, which both looked promising.
The story in itself needs time to develop into something more than the basic concept, I think. I said awkward because it left me uncomfortable at times.
It also took itself way too seriously. The dull way the pilot was shot made me feel like I was watching a Melrose Place episode sometimes (WTF, JOSS :/) and the soundtrack was DREADFUL, because yes, the opening credits are incredibly lame, but LADY GAGA ???? That was a new low.
I am willing to stick with ituntil it's cancelled to give it the chance to find its tone, though, because it wasn't completely horrible.

on 2009-02-15 01:50 pm (UTC)It didn't felt like something by Whedon at all if you take Dr Horrible into account !
Maybe it's because the show needs time but I highly doubt that FOX will give it that time.

As for Macfadyen, are you talking about the award he presented ?
