About the new companion annoucement and James Marsters on Torchwood

Hmmm.

I'm half happy and half disappointed.

Happy because she's no random chick n°3 and there is no way in hell she'll fall for the Doctor and she's going to boss him around and maybe slap him again XD

Disappointed because we already know Donna so there won't be any surprises (but that includes bad surprises I guess) and she's NOT a guy damn it !! And I don't see how they could keep a darker tone (which I LOVED SO MUCH OMG) like they did with series three. But I guess a funnier series 4 is more appreciated for the sake of the Doctor's mental health *snorts*

But I'm more happy than disappointed because man, Catherine Tate and David Tennant working together is one of the funniest thing I've ever seen (that includes the comic relief sketch, of course).

Now on even more squee worthy news, this is what James Marsters had to say at the Fangoria Convention about his gig on Torchwood :

"James went on to talk about his guest spot in Torchwood. I guess he did a preliminary screening thingie, but they went back and rewrote a new script. He said that (and I'm sorta paraphrasing here) his role was going to offend some, titilate others - to the point where they would need to finish themselves off afterwards... something about the way Brits are more liberal in their approach to sex/sexuality, or something. All I got out of that was SLASH!!!!"

Yeah slash is all I make out of it too XD
