First of all, I just came back from (500) Days of Summer and LOVED IT SO HARD IT HURTS OMG. I came for the Gubler's Hair on the big screen and I stayed for the Joseph Everything, HE WAS SO BRILLIANT AND ALL MY LOVE FOR HIM JUST RUSHED BACK X 1000. The film was very refreshing from what you usually get in a romantic comedy so it was a good surprise.The story was light, cute, sometimes hilarious and sad. Oh and the Gube's hair did look mighty awesome on a big screen and it was really nice to see him standing and walking, too :D
We had a great time !

Teevee week take 1, in short :

Dexter's premiere exceeded expectations ! I'm so looking forward to the new season now.

Dexter 4x01 - Living the Dream

I just adore the whole situation. He's living his worst nightmare and can't deal with his double life anymore and it's fascinating to watch !
I felt so bad for him and yet I had never laughed this much watching an episode of Dexter. The cliffhanger was uber awesome and I can't wait to see how he'll deal with the police since he has body parts in his trunk. THAT'S WHAT A BABY AND MARITAL LIFE DOES TO YOUR SERIAL KILLER SKILLZ DUDE.
I knew about Lundy and I'm happy to have him back, I didn't know about Angel and LaGuerta and I'm quite for it too, especially for the hilarious scenes with Masuka in the elevator.
The new serial killer is creepy as fuck ! That introduction scene was FTW.


House 6x03 - Epic Fail

I've already flailed too much about it to really have something constructive to add, but let's just say that I'm pretty fucking happy about the show right now. *points to icon*


Gossip Girl 3x03 - The Lost Boy

I still pretend that Carter is Jack from Kings and I don't know if the two characters are really starting to share some similarities or if I'm just sad and delusional. But I loved the eyerolling he did at the end when Serena left him and I really thought he was about to cry when Nate's Whatshername started to threaten him.

In other news, Chuck and Blair own the show and are hilarious. Especially when they try to outbid each other or when Blair expresses her frustration by storming off and stealing his boots, leaving him WTFing forever. LOL.

Also, it was super nice to have Jenny and Eric back ! Next time it would be a good idea to, you know, actually give them something to do.
Oh and Rufus and Lily's bastard can fuck off and die for all I care.

GG is great for practicing snark, I love it.


How I Met Your Mother 5x02 - Double Date

I loved the Doppelgangers and Marshall's complex fantasy XD
I half liked Ted's storyline because I love how pathetic he is but it was dull in parts.
I was quite disappointed by Robin's lack of acceptance towards Barney's strip club love. Especially since Lilly had a more awesome reaction D:


The Big Bang Theory 3x02 - The Gothowitz Deviation

Loved it way better than last week !
Penny/Leonard was tolerable (because it was reflecting my own feelings about their relationship XD) even if I didn't like that they were still together by the end.
Sheldon vs Howard and the cricket situation was love, the random ranty entomologist was priceless !


Criminal Minds 5x02 - Haunted

IT WAS INCREDIBLY BRILLIANT FROM BEGINNING TO END. I loved the case and I just ADORE the way they're handling Hotch's PTSD.
The case was so disturbing and Sean Patrick Flannery nailed the unsub's part. I love how it was all dodgy because it was impossible not to feel sympathy for him and yet he kept killing people all over the place. Also loved that Hotch's first case after his assault was a psychotic man who randomly stabbed people. OH THE IRONY.

I love how he's on the verge of breaking and yet is twice as ruthless and determined. The way he just calmly walked into the house unarmed and unprotected with the two unsubs inside while everyone was losing their shit was just SO OMFG !!
And it was so nice to leave the gunshots unseen and have the scene afterwards seem way off to be able to speculate about Hotch's involvement with the unsub shooting his father.
I LOVED Morgan, Rossi and Emily's respective way of dealing with him. Well, ESPECIALLY Morgan's extreme protectiveness because I'm shallow and it's HOT.
The only downside to CM at the moment is Matthew's unfortunate condition, which is incredibly frustrating and makes me angry at the world. I'm thankful that Reid's look right now is enough to content me and make me flail into oblivion because he really isn't that much into the action. I'm terrified of having to bear limited Reid screentime for the next 10 episodes or so. *weeps*

Anyway, Foyet ILU and thank you for the wonderful HOTCHALANGST you provocked in your wake.

Glee 1x05 - The Rhodes Not Taken

First time the show didn't deliver for me.
I enjoyed seing Puck and Kurt dancing in Cowboy outfits, OBVIOUSLY, but the rest was just not interesting.
I tried to like Kristin Chenoweth's character so hard but I couldn't bring myself to like the storyline D:

Oh well, I'm pretty sure next week will deliver again.


Off to watch SPN now, keep being awesome flist !
