You know this Legend of the Seeker show ? This super pretty show with gorgeous hair, muscled bare chests and pretty New Zealand landscapes ?
Well I started watching it yesterday and I'm already halfway through the 22 episodes of the first season, because it's made of 57 flavours of awesome and totally addicting.
It's about a young man extremely not bright and extremely pretty (seriously, he's New Zealand's Dominic Cooper) who's been chosen to be the new Seeker of Truth which is basically a dude who has to rid the world of Evil with a shiny magical sword. So he goes on adventures to do just that but since he's aaaaaa bit... Dim, he often finds himself in dangerous situations. Luckily for him he has an extremely capable and fierce girl who is his personal bodyguard and has to rescue him a lot. They both travel with a cracky old wizard with impressive skills and crazy eyes.
So Richard is the damsel in distress and gets shirtless, tortured and put on leash a lot, Kahlan is his GORGEOUS knight in shining armour with added cleavage and shiny long hair and Zedd is... The awesome crazy old wizard. Evil is personified by extremely sexy people, Darken Rahl is played by LOTR's Haldir and he has a crazy hot army of leather clad gals working for him called the Mord-Sith.
It has about Every Cliches Possible Ever but I suspect that I love it so hard because it appeals to my inner-child and inner-perv alike. The pretty photography is a feast for the eyes, the main characters are very likeable and it's refreshing to have a world full of powerful women and a hero who's main function is to get pwned by them on a regular basis.
Oh and I'm not shipping Richard/Kahlan hardcore (even if I do like their chemistry) but I definitely fancy them both (sometimes Kahlan more, even if Richard's ridiculous faces and abs of Steel often kill me deded).

Season 2 starts in November (I'll obviously be up to date long before) and the premiere will have Charisma Carpenter playing a Mord-Sith ! OM NOM NOM.
