SPARKLY SPARKLY STUFF

1. Saw Kick-Ass a couple of weeks ago. It was made of complete awesome !
I read the comics and did love most of the changes they made for the film, especially the depth added to the vilains. Mark Strong was perfect as usual and Christopher Mintz-Plasse made Red Mist very sympathetic. The action sequences and the soundtrack rocked like a rocking thing and OH HAI AARON JOHNSON.
Yes, I subsequently had a massive crush on Aaron Johnson. I MEAN.
Since then I saw him as a young Lennon in Nowhere Boy and he blew me away. I KNEW RIGHT THERE AND THEN THAT IT WAS LOVE.
I did a picspam of the film here. The trailer is here. It's brilliant and I highly recommend it (and wee adorable Thomas Sangster plays Paul McCartney and it's full of slash).
I also have Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging to see and I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE TO COME OUT :
I'm going to see Kick-Ass again tomorrow. I'M BUZZING WITH GIDDINESS.
2. I watched the 8 episodes reality series Be Good Johnny Weir and now OH YOU GUYS :
That was one hell of a great documentary. I mean I already liked him but after seeing this ? I have so much respect for him now it's not even funny. He works *so* hard to be on top without losing his principles. And he is fabulous and over the top and oh so presh.
Basically, that's what you need to know in a nutshell :
I started to have a lot of unexpected figure skating knowledge thanks to BGJW and ended up joining
ontd_skating. I REGRET NOTHING OMG. THIS FANDOM IS HILARIOUS AND BRINGS SO MUCH SPARKLES AND GIGGLES.
Meet Stéphane Lambiel :
ADORABLE I KNOW.
Johnny and Stéphanelove each other are epic BFFs. Their love is beautiful :
They train together just like Deniz und Roman but you know, FOR REALZ. Their cuteness kills me.
They are called SwanZebra because of their costumes. Stéphane had a fabulous MAGICAL MULTICOLOURED ZEBRA WITH WINGS costume. He explains this here.
Meet Evan Lysacek :
Evan is Johnny's Arch Nemesis (he won the gold medal at this year's Olympic winter games). They are rivals and often bitch or glare at each other. Johnny recently called him a slore on some talk show (which is clearly backed up by the pics above).
They are like Harry and Draco on ice and have lots and lots and lots of angry sex, trufax.
So yes, they're called SwanGoose and no, those pairing names never stop getting lulzy.
I love Evan's skating (he couldn't have a more opposite skating style than Weir), he seems kinda douchey irl but his rivalry with Weir is PRICELESS. It's often compared with the film Blades of Glory (which I totally got my hands on HA HA HA).
Dude should lay off the spray tan tho, it's not for nothing that he has been nicknamed Orange Bro in the fandom.
Here's some of my fave Johnny pics, I just love how graceful he is.
And my all time favourite :
3. I saw Iron Man 2 and obviously loved loved LOVED RDJ and Sam Rockwell in it but I was a bit disappointed. It had awesome bits but as a whole it was packed with too much stuff and just not as good as the first one.
4. I *finally* found a job after leaving school and start on monday so basically, \o/
