I woke up this moning to find that all hell had break loose during the night

Billie makes a return in series 4.

I first saw the set pics this morning and I read that she would be back for the Doctor-lite episode that is rumored to be about the companions. I found the news quite intriguing and interesting.

But I just read the official announcement and she'll return for 3 episodes WTF THAT IS A LOT O_o

I'm not particualry fond of the idea of Rose being back for so long but I would not mind if this is how it's done :

- Rose is not the focus of these 3 episodes but serves the plot, very much like how Jack's return was handled in series 3.

- She's now a confident young woman who's moved on with her life. She's been doing great at Alt!Torchwood and is partially or completely over the Doctor like Martha when she returns in series 4.

- The Doctor does not declare his TWU LUV FOREVAH to her and their is no EMO ROSE!ANGST when she leaves again (on her own accord this time). I don't want to see any of the batshippers' crazy wishes come to life (they're already scaring me more than usual today) or I'll never forgive Rusty again.
I want friendship, maybe some cuteness but most of all I want them to find closure, be happy for each other and be able to let go without heartbreaks this time. Otherwise the series would take a serious step backwards.
But this isn't Smallville so I have faith that it won't come to that.

- And most of all, I want stolen blurry pics of John Simm on the DW set, damn it.

EDIT : No sorry, tya_rc's comment is bothering me. Hon', if you really think by reading my post that I'm expressing some ulgy bitterness, just take a look at what 45eugenia is using her amazing skills for right now (and laugh). And I have many similar posts in my flist right now.
So, no I don't consider myself as an "abused Martha/Doctor shipper" (especially since that should be replaced by MASTER/Doctor, KTHXBAI. Why does if there's a fault it always has to be thrown back at Martha I have no fucking idea.)

Euh, chérie, tu rêves si tu crois que tu vas avoir une légère friendship avec un peu de cuteness. Je comprends que toi tu sois passée à autre chose en arrêtant de shipper Rose/Doctor pour être devenue 200% Martha/Doctor, mais n'oublions pas que :

- le Doctor a complétement bouleversé la vie de Rose. Avant de le rencontrer elle était une ado londonienne, et now elle est devenue une défenseuse de l'univers. Ce que tu demandes est inconcevable, tout comme il aurait été inconcevable que Sarah Jane se comporte en cousine éloignée quand elle a retrouvé le Doc...
- c'est quand même Rose qui a redonné la foi à Nine après qu'il ait perdu tous les autres Time Lords. Rose l'a aidé à se reconstruire, et ils ont toujours eu une relation *fusionnelle* (romantique ou pas) et je trouverais ça abusé qu'ils ne soient plus que de simples amis.

Et puis c'est impossible qu'elle soit "complétement over the Doctor comme Martha dans la saison 4" parce que leur relation n'a jamais été définie sur un simple crush qu'on peut oublier. Leur amour - romantique ou pas - était basé sur un profond respect, une compréhension de l'autre, et globalement un sentiment de fusion qu'il n'y avait pas du tout avec Martha. Donc que Martha passe au dessus de son crush, d'accord. Mais que Rose passe au dessus de sa façon de voir le Doctor et de toutes les émotions positives (tendresse, attachement, abnégation...) qu'elle a envers lui, ce serait pour le coup inexplicable. Tu peux oublier un crush, pas la bonne opinion que tu as de la personne.

Now, j'avoue que je suis pas forcément enthousiaste pour le retour de Rose, parce que soit ils vont minimiser l'impact de leurs retrouvailles - ce qui serait injuste par rapport à ce qu'ils ont été l'un pour l'autre - soit ils vont garder le brillot et l'intensité de leur relation ; et dans quel cas je ne sais pas du tout comment je vais le prendre parce que Rose repart et que je ne vois pas l'intérêt d'amener quelque chose d'aussi gros sur le tapis...

Dans tous les cas, ils ont intérêt d'avoir un scénario en béton pour réussir à me convaincre qu'ils n'ont pas ramené Rose simplement à cause de sa popularité, mais qu'elle sert au contraire le script, tout en rendant justice à son personnage...


(Et puis parce qu'entre amis on devrait pouvoir tout se dire, il faut que je te dise qu'on a l'impression de lire le post d'une Martha/Doctor qui se sent abusée, LOL... peut-être que tu ne le penses pas, mais c'est le ressenti que j'ai eu à la lecture.)

I don't really want to see Rose at all because of the high chance of annoying OMGYAYROSE for 3 episodes. ARGG.

But I can live with it if it means there's sneaky John Simm pictures and John Simm returning as well.
Fuck it let's take everyone who has ever left for whatever reason even if they died or regenerated in the new series and bring em back!
