Torchwood 2x01 Kiss kiss bang bang

rosengirlOne word to describe the Torchwood season premiere : LOVE. PURE LOVE. INSANE SQUEEING LOVE. GLORIOUS GAY LOVE.
MAH ICON IZ SO RITE ! John/Jack = pure sex
Cpt John Hart WAS OMG AN UBER AWESOME BEOTCH !! And so damn funny, I loled a lot.
The story was fast paced, action packed and deadly entertaining and it was FUN from beginning to end.
I even loved to see *all* of the team back, they seem to work a lot better than last series. I really got the feeling they were a team here.
The biggest surprise though, was how Ianto gained like A GAZILLION COOL POINTS. He was ridiculously made of win and his lines were the best of the episode.
IANTO OWNS ME I WANT 1758158173 IANTO ICONS KTHXBAI (for the record, I thought he was cute in series 1 but that was about it.).
AND OMG THE JACK/IANTO SCENE WAS SO FUCKING GOOD I SQUEED LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW !!
And the scene in the elevator between John/Ianto and the scene between John and Jack on the roof GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD. That episode was a fangirl's wet dream.
It was the gayest episode they've ever done if you put aside 112.
The only downside would be the Jack/Gwen scene because I found it kinda sweet at the beginning but by the end I was thinking DOES NOT WANT DOES NOT WANT DOES NOT WANT. Although the Jack/Ianto stuff later makes me think that we have little to worry on the Jack/Gwen front.
And as if all this wasn't good enough, as if I hadn't already expired of squee, they proceeded to finish me off with a s2 trailer FULL OF MARTHA BEING UNBEARABLY HOT.*post coital bliss*

on 2008-01-17 12:08 pm (UTC)Bon episode. Bizarrement j'ai pas trop squeeé, parce que il y avait un plot. La fois suivante je risque de squeer, mais là, je suivais l'histoire. C'est facile de faire sa fangirl quand l'episode est baaaaaaad, parce que bon on suit plus les persos que l'histoire, mais là, good storyline. Bon jeu d'acteur aussi.
J'ai fait "niark niark" quand il balance Jack du haut du toit.
J'ai trouvé la scéne Jack/Gwen un peu too much sur la fin.
J'ai a-do-ré Jack demandant à Ianto si il voulait sortir un soir avec lui.
Et j'ai fait "awwwwwww faut trop que j'ecrive un drabble mais que je demande à quelqu'un comment il pense epeller le nom d'abord parce que awwww un bébé!!!".
En gros.
Et je suis pas en "omg squee" sur Martha. J'arrive pas ^^
Par contre j'ai hate que Donna debarque dans DW =D

The thing was there was such an alchemy between Rose and the Doctor that it's understandable that some can't stand Martha which is stupid.
I like Martha/Ten as a companionship and not a love relationship.

One thing with Martha that never happened with Rose is that I would completly and utterly say yes if I was asked to perform hot sex with Freema.

Pour moi, j'ai pas retouné ma veste. Je fais pas du Martha bashing. Je ne vois pas l'interet puisque j'aime bien son perso. Juste je l'attend pas comme le messie :p

I was so pleasantly surprised by that! I can totally and enthusiastically get behind Jack/Ianto, now (whereas before I was OK with it because, well, boykissing, but there wasn't really all that much glee).
Also, words cannot express the levels of DO NOT WANT I have for Jack/Gwen.

I totally agree on Ianto... (even if it's hard to see him as a real serious character... I have to learn that XD)
and this episode was really more than a fangirl (wet) dream... it was a fangirl paradise... it's gayest thing since QAF so XD I was so laughing of that too lol
I didn't like all the Jack/Gwen stuff... well... I didn't like Gwen at all in fact...
And the trailer is great... no as much squeee about Martha as you, but she should be great...

Everyone and their mother agrees on how painfully bad the Jack/Gwen was...
