I was a bit SRSLY ? at first but it really grew on me since and I concluded that it was Win. I love the pop art bits and giant blue lipstick hahaha.

*gah* So much to update about. SO LAZY.

So last weekend I invited fairy_bliss, foui_the_brave (aka Untitled) and ephyse to watch Children of Earth Day 5 all together for the first time (*hmmph* *kicks Eph*) and do a little marathon of the whole thing afterwards to celebrate Torchweek.
So we did watch Day 5 in shocking silence because honestly, I for my part, was fucking horrified. But in a good way ! I think that the series as a whole was one of the best piece of television we've had all year and I WILL NEVER FORGET JOHN FROBISHER. HE WAS A GOOD MAN *dies a little inside*

We had a lovely chat afterwards (outside, under the sun *gasps*) and fairy_bliss left us for the night because she had to wake up early the next day for the french HP premiere (which I'm glad she did now because she was able to warn me about the big cuts they made in the story, more on that later).

We never got the COE marathon under way because we realized that all in one go so soon after having seen it would have probably ended with us killing ourselves. We did rewatch *that* death though and I didn't cry this time :) (which meant that I actually heard what they were saying lol).

So we had a comedy night instead, and it felt really good after all the gloom and doom fest of Torchweek. We watched both Alan and Jimmy Carr'stand up. I only knew Jimmy Carr through the big fat quizz but OMFG HE IS HILARIOUS. I mean you want to slap him hard because his humor is horrific and he has the most annoying face ever but you can't help yourself from laughing like mad. His impro skills are really impressive.
We also watched some bits and pieces of Tim Minchin'So Fucking Rock (♥) and Foui introduced us to Eddie Izzard which I knew by reputation but I'm so glad she did because INSTA LOVE for the man. We finished the night with Let's Go To Prison at Eph's request and she loved it so much that I could talk her through snagging my Arrested Development s1 boxset :D

I have now my hands on the 4 stand up shows of Jimmy Carr (watched In Concert and Live) and Eddie Izzard's Dress To Kill (which was watched and LUUUUVED).


Those days I'm cheating on my OTP because I kinda... Fell back into Ten/Jack and am reading anything post COE with them in it. I blame it on my love for COE!Jack and his awesome character development, and me being obsessed by the follow up to the series.


I also fell back into Dexter because I caught up with season 3 in two days AND IT WAS MADE OF WIN. Well the ending was less good than the previous two finales but the Dexter/Miguel Prado storyline kept me on the edge of my seat. The actors had an incredible chemistry ! Oh and Michael C. Hall ? Still nom nom nomable and brilliant *__*

I still have Alias season 5 to watch and Chuck to caught up with and then I'll be able to try something new.

In other news I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesterday with the bro and fairy_bliss, and apart from the bad seats, I COMPLETELY LOVED IT !

It was gorgeous, both incredibly funny and dark in places. The young cast was the best they've ever been so far and the others were excellent, as always.
JIM BROADBENT STOLE THE WHOLE MOVIE FOR ME. HE WAS UTTERLY PRICELESS AND SPOT ON.

All in all a big YAY for this one. I can't wait to see it in all its IMAX glory when we'll be in Glasgow !

Ha ! Doomsday doesn't make me weep anymore.
I still shred a tear though, because even if I know perfectly well why it didn't move me as much this time you can't ignore the tremendous job both actors did in those last ten minutes.

STILL. the last 20 seconds of Donna made me squee out loud. She's going to rock the casba in series 4, I AM SURE OF IT.

And now is the time for my favourite part of the marathon : WOOHOO Marfaaa, Mister Mastaar, Timelords gay love SERIES 3 HERE I COME.

Yesterday I met up with the girlz, lilibel, jedicathy, angeliksmall, fairy_bliss, ephyse, daiyaa and a friend of hers to exchange our secret santa gifts. The afternoon was spent at Starbucks and it was lovely and animated.

I was particulary glad to see lilibel, ephyse and daiyaa again since it's been ages.

We had a very fun debate about Voyage of the Damned at some point because everyone here had completely different levels of appreciation.

My secret *snorts* santa was angeliksmall and she got me some lovely gifts :

- The New Beginnings boxset (which I hadn't suggested at all XD) with The Keeper of Traken/Logopolis/Castrovalva.
- The Claws of Axos dvd.
- a very cute Ten/Simm!Master keychain.
- a gorgeous art featuring the ten Doctors to go with the six Masters art that I already had ! *squees*

So in the end it was all about Doctor/Master, angeliksmall knows me like the back of her hand *smother her in a hug*



In other news, versaphile wrote the most perfect, beautiful and heartbreaking Ten POV post VOTD imaginable. I love her to death for it.

Oh and on the Mighty Boosh front, Nanageddon scared me of little old ladies for life, very much like Blink did with statues.
But goth!Vince Noir slayed me to death with teh Hawts and old lady!Vince Noir was oddly appealing.

I'm enjoying series 2 even more that the first one. Especially for Naboo's increased presence and the fact that he's shirtless 90% of the time and the total randomness of the Moon ! *rotfl*
