Ha ! Doomsday doesn't make me weep anymore.
I still shred a tear though, because even if I know perfectly well why it didn't move me as much this time you can't ignore the tremendous job both actors did in those last ten minutes.


I seriously CANNOT see how they can make Rose's return work. That was such a perfect ending for her character to me that just the knowledge of her return, without having seen it yet, already ruined my Doomsday viewing. Well, not exactly ruined because I still enjoyed it very much (gosh ! Tennant is breathtakingly beautiful in the Badwolf Bay scene) but I can't say I'm emotionaly drained right now.
I have faith that they have thought it through because I'm ever the optimist.
But I'm really curious to see how they will be able to make it work, because I REALLY REALLY can't imagine how it would be possible at the moment.

STILL. the last 20 seconds of Donna made me squee out loud. She's going to rock the casba in series 4, I AM SURE OF IT.

There's a wee bit of anger on my flist today because Rusty has apparently said that ep 11 (when Rose returns) is really romantic.

Blah, blah, blah. I'm remaining optimistic too because, well, I just have to be, really. I'm hoping Rusty doesn't fuck it up, that's all.

Hmmm. I remember David saying about ep 11 that he didn't have a single scene with Billie but that it would all make sense when we would have seen the episode. So I'm confused !

Have you ever seen Rusty *not* fuck up something with his weird messiah-like insufferable opiniated bastardized self? Honestly.

And I just read that Kai Owen confirmed that TW would be back for its third series - filming to start in August (three months later than usual... bad news or good one?) - but that "its format will be a little different to what we're used to".
Having read the rumours about some characters not coming back and the BBC commissioning five episodes instead of thirteen, I IS FRANKLY SCARED LIKE SHIT.

I absolutely DO NOT believe those casting rumors, it's too big for it being true (especially for one of them who would never ever leave the show in a million years).
And there's not 'later than usual' for the TW schedule since we had a huge gap between series 1 and 2.

It's a hit or miss with Rusty because in one hand he gave us Parting of the Ways and in the other... Voyage of the damned.
I've decided to stop spoiling myself after having read the latest rumors for the finale because what's inted is *SO FUCKING HUGE* that I don't want to find out if it'll come true or not.

Well, I don't believe *those* casting rumours either but it's entirely possible that there'll be some cast changes. And even that, I DO NOT WANT.
Though, frankly, it's the "different format" that scares me like hell because I adore my show with a passion just like it is now, and I can't imagine a good change for it. I mean, if it was about script quality I'd say, HELL YEAH, but if it's a change in the episodes duration, or the number of episodes, or a complete reshuffle of the team's dynamics or anything... it just. won't. do.

I trust Rusty just like I trust any over-enthusiastic twelve-year-old fanboy. Sometimes, when he isn't high on squee, he'll do something deep and reasonable. Any other time, he'll just do what the fuck he wants with his toys and scream "i pwns the universe, screw you!" back at ya.

Yeah I agree with your TW anxiety because a change of format seems really unnecessary since they already found their marks so well this year.
