Spent a wonderful day with
ephyse and
jedicathy. The usual : eating deliiiiiicious maki at our favourite japanese restaurant and hanging out at Starbucks. We also went to see Changeling and did a wee bit of shopping afterwards.
Changeling was fantastic even if it was also quite depressing and hard to watch. Angelina Jolie is marvellous in that part and did a really great job at making you feel her character's pain.
I was sucked into the story from beginning to end. It was all that you can expect from your usual Eastwood film.
Eph and I squeed A LOT on the Boosh. We talked about a certain awesome Noelian fic that she linked to me yesterday and even retold it to cath so she wouldn't be left out of teh squee (she didn't seem to care a lot but she loled :p). We also went on and on about last night's IT Crowd episode. Episode which I thought would be a good idea to watch in the train this morning. In public. OMG IT SO WAS NOT.
I NEVER EXPECTED ROY AND MOSS TO START MAKING OUT OUTTA FRIGGIN NOWHERE. TWICE ! OMGGGGG. I had to put a hand over my mouth not to shriek. Then of course I had to rewind that bit on the spot to see it properly and I didn't know that THEY WOULD GO AT IT A SECOND TIME. Man, I bit my scarf and tried to sit still but it was damn hard. I loved Moss just fiercely going for it and Roy being totally flabbergasted at the end. IT WAS SO AWESOME. THANK YOU THE IT CROWD, THANK YOU.
I also loved the rest, Roy was *so* adorably awkward in this and COCKNEY!MOSS PWNS ME SO HARD ROTFL. Moss was so creepy with the stapler. I don't know any other character who can pull off creepiness in a *cute* way, and he sure is damn good at it ♥
Then again I should have known something was up with this episode when
ephyse sent me a text this morning to threaten me of ignoring me all day if I hadn't seen it before our meet up.
During the bit of shopping, eph pointed me out all the shoes and bits of clothing which reminded her of Noel Fielding and I couldn't stop giggling. It's so easy to please a fangirl's brain it's a little scary.
Ephyse also went to great lengths to remake Camelot, Arthur and Excalibur with bits and pieces of Starbucks cups. The people who sat after us didn't seem impressed but it was for epic lulz.
And that's my transition to say that TIS MERLIN NIGHT. And I haven't seen an episode alone since 106 but I am STILL RATHER EXCITED. Maybe even more by Unicorn lulz than my weekly dose of Epic Gay (which has already been provided, THANK YOU IT CROWD.)

on 2008-11-29 10:30 pm (UTC)Haven't seen it yet but to me it looks like Roy and Moss thought everyone was talking about Merlin and Arthur and not enough about them so they turned to slash.
Well... it worked :P

This is I talking to the world: "I am what I am"
As you can see, I can't help myself and quoted the world's greatest philosopher of all times, Dr J. Barrowman^^
Oh and I am totally into those red low boots we saw. I'm thinking of getting them and build myself a Noel-ish outfit!
