I JUST.
THIS SHOW KILLS ME WITH AMAZINGNESS.
IT IS SURPRISINGLY ALWAYS INCREASING IN QUALITY EVERY SINGLE WEEK.
MADE OF PUPPIES AND RAINBOWS ONE MINUTE AND INCREDIBLY DARK AND VIOLENT THE NEXT.
IT'S DARING, IT HAS INTELLIGENT WRITING AND CHARACTERS ENDLESSLY FASCINATING.
Oh and I want a Mitchell of my own, kthx.
They were so clever to make Mitchell's personality so sweet and life loving because the second he got disappointed by humanity made me even more heartbroken by the choice he made in the end. That plot with the little boy was extremely well handled and his previous almost friendly, nostalgic scene with Herrick (still creepy as hell thanks to his blandness), helped accepting the reasons of why he gave up so willingly his need to fight against his nature.
I laughed like mad almost all the way through because some lines and scenes were again IMMENSE (the kitchen scene with the three at the beginning was hysterical, 'the german scat' quote, etc) and it's really the strength of the series because it makes the darker elements all the more striking, by contrast.
I *adore* where Annie's plot is going. From sweet lovely ghost to angry vengeful poltergeist, it works so well ! Loved the scene where people saw her and I can't wait to know why they did.
George and Nina had some incredibly good scenes as well. I wasn't keen on Nina and her pairing with George first but I was completely sold with this episode. They were funny, engaging, had interesting angst and issues. The intimacy of the moment where she decided to show George that she was abused before, the way the actor played it, the fact that it was George in tears instead of her couldn't have been more perfect (I cried).
I couldn't be happier with the show. Next week looks YET AGAIN, 57 flavours of A-MA-ZING.

I concur with this accurate description. Mitchell is so unique in the history of vampirism *___*
