So my Merlin love is alive and kickin' ! It was for me the highlight of last week's teevee and I am impressed by how fast it could win my heart back ! It's just the cutest, most charming show ever and I love it in all its silly and cracky glory <3
So basically...
Merlin 201 - The Curse of Cornelius Sigan
ARTHUR'S NAKED CHEST. A LOT.
CLOTPOLE.
MERLIN AND CEDRIC'S GIRLIEST CATFIGHT EVER. ARTHUR'S SPESHUL FACE WHEN MERLIN JUMPED ON CEDRIC.
THAT LOVELY SCENE WHEN MERLIN WAS *ANGSTS ANGSTS ANGSTS OVER ARTHUR* AT GAIUS.
ARTHUR COMING TO NOT APOLOGIZE TO MERLIN. THAT 'YUP' HE DOES ? KILLS ME DEDED EVERYTIME FOR SOME REASON.
And the rest really. The scenes between Arthur and Gwen seemed to be PASTEDE ON YAY a tiny bit but less so when I rewatched the episode. If it allows more character development for Gwen then I'm totally cool with it.
Mackenzie Crook was awesome and had a nice chemistry with Bradley and Colin.
I'm intrigued by the idea of Merlin gone bad now and I kinda want it to happen because Merlin's fake evol!face was absolutely hot. He did want Arthur on his knees for a split second when Cedric was trying to lure him to the fabulous side. I think I saw a flash of lust in his eyes, eh.
So the two principal things we learned from this episode :
1. Arthur sleeps half naked.
2. Merlin is the only one to have access to Arthur's chambers at night.
These two facts are now canon.

The rest of last week's teevee didn't disapoint either and all was good and entertaining.
Glee 1x02 - Acafellas
JOSH GROBAN HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME AND YET SING SO MUCH RUBBISH. HOW ? I continue to love you truly madly deeply, such is my curse.
I'm still enjoying this show a lot ! The Acafellas storyline was super funny, I'm glad that Victor Garber has been hired to play yet another awesome daddy and the more we see of the secondary characters, the more I love them.
The only nitpick would be the lack of credibility of Kurt and Mercedes'storyline but it gave us the 'I broke your window car' musical number which was awesomecakes.
I'm also quite happy with Kurt's crush on Finn. Rachel continues to be great when I still feel that she should annoy me.
The Office 6x01 - Gossip
PARKOUR!!!!!!!!
Parkour is the internet sensation of 2004. LOLZ.
That pre credits scene was hilarious and stayed with me the next couple of days. I just wanted to shout randomly PARKOUR and bounce against walls quite a lot.
Andy believing his rumor and seriously questioning his sexuality was hilarious. Especially his Brad Pitt fantasy XD
Michael is still the loveliest moronic boss on the planet AND I LOVE HIM SO. It was so cute when he was mad at Jim and Pam for not telling him that Pam was pregnant.
Supernatural 5x02 - Good God Y'all
IMMENSE IN ITS BRILLIANCE.
I love every bit of new apocalypse mythology they throw in this and the four Horsemen is just too exciting for words.
Especially if the other three will be half as fierce as War is. He was mostly excellent !
I loved the use of past characters and the twist in the story was very well done.
Castiel's tiny bit at the beginning was positively PRICELESS. The Dean/Castiel just blew my mind and idk it's just like it's so INURFACE next time they'll be full on kissing.
I'm so sad for Bobby though, poor guy ! Come on I'm sure you can get better through sheer will, YOU'RE FIERCENESS ALLOWS IT.
Dean and Sam splitting up at the end didn't move me too much since it's obvious that it will last about 5 minutes in my mind. Dean offering the Impala to Sam was extremely OOC for me O_o.
NEEDS MOAR LUCIFER NAO.
I know everyone's been psyched about the preview for next week which is why I refused to watch it. I can't wait to be completely delighted onfriday thursday, though :)
I'm also finally up to date with Gossip Girl and enjoyed the season 3 premiere.
Gossip Girl 3x01 - Reversals of Fortune
Well, is there anything more to say than AAMSLSDASDLJADJAMZLDJ CHUCK AND BLAIR *DED OF FLAIL*
(it could be argued that this is the only thing you can usually say about this show)
I loved their current struggle of to play or not to play ? And I LOVED their hilarious waiter/customer roleplay at the end.
On a shallow note I'm really happy with Dan and Nate's new haircuts.
I could dig that Carter/Serena thing, mostly because I noticed Carter's awesomeness for the first time and I think it's a side effect of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jedicathy showing me all those clips of him crying in Kings, idk. But Serena storming off on horseback and Carter also getting on a horse to chase after her was pretty lolarious and I liked that he ended up nailing her in the woods. Classy !
OMG this week so many more shows are returning ! I can't wait for the 2 hours premiere of House, I'm biting my nails for the Criminal Minds premiere, I'm extremely curious and excited about Dollhouse season 2 and I'm also happy for the returns of How I Met Your Mother and the Big Bang Theory. Another great week for telly, I hope !
Last night's Emmys were disappointing, no surprises there, but here's the single awesome bit :
I can't wait for Dr Horrible season 2, which is bound to happen Y/Y/Y/Y ?
To conclude :

(And yessssss, fake!evil!Merlin was far, far too hot. And then he went from that to BIG ADORKABLE SMILE and it nearly killed me.)

on 2009-09-21 09:10 pm (UTC)I like your interpretation about Dean and the Impala, too bad I only went O___o when I watched it because I thought it would be the last thing coming from his mouth (not helped by Sam not really reacting to his statement).
Well apparently you only need to watch this vid : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM6rizgv1_c which contains all the Jack and Jack/Joseph scenes worth watching. She told me that the other character'storyline were quite meh and that I really shouldn't bother.
EDIT : the irony being that the vid does make you want to see the show lol.
