Doctor Who - The End of Time part 1

IT WAS CRACKY AND RIDIC AND UNSLASHYBELIEVABLE AND WE HAVE CANON DRAG!MASTER NOW. MY MIND BOGGLES.

Wilf was absolutely MAGNIFICENT and I'm utterly confused and suspicious about him now. With the woman appearing to him and the Doctor questioning him... Hmm foreshadowing. If there's a fob watch in his future I will FLAIL INTO OBLIVION. I don't even know how that would work but I wouldn't put it past what RTD was smocking.

The scene where the Doctor talks to him and just breaks down because of his guilt over what happened in the last one was so heartbreaking. And the bit with Donna outside the window made me go aaawww.

TEH MASTER IS BATSHIT AND HAWT AND SEXEY AND WOOBIE. Those scenes where he eats and eats like a pig must have been a real pain in the arse for Simm to play.

The Doctor/Master bits were ALL I COULD HAVE WISHED FOR. I just want to rewatch them right now. I flailed each time they sensed each other, I LOVED the chase sequence and the confrontation was made of subtext. That bit came right out of a fanfic. Simm and Tennant nailed each other it. I actually jumped out of my chair when the Master made the Doctor hear the drums, I wanted to rewind and rewatch SO HARD but then I realised that I couldn't and died inside *cannot wait to see it again*

It was all so cracky and there was so much happening that made little sense that I'm really incoherent and can't form a definite opinion before I've seen it again. I didn't expect this AT ALL.

But over all I spent half of the time squeeing and flailing and the other half crying of laughter (especially for the last 10 minutes) so I mostly liked it.

THE DOCTOR HAS A WHOLE PLANET OF MASTERS TO HIMSELF. GREATEST LAST GIFT BEFORE DYING EVER Y/Y.

His evil boyfriend is so thoughtful *weeps*

ETA : and of course, I forgot to mention it but TIME LORDS ARE BACK, BITCHES. AND THEY'RE NOT HAPPY. *PUNCHES THE AIR*

I wasn't home this weekend so I just rewatched it twice completely oblivious of fandom wank. I'm going to catch up now and I hope my squee won't be harshed (I'm so in love with the epic cracklulz of the episode that I can't see it happening tho :D)

SO FUCKING MUCH YES TO THE CANON THETA/KOSCHEI RANDOM BACKSTORY. Not that we ever had doubts about their sweet love for one another but it's awesome to have it verified like this !
