I finally saw Boston Kickout with mr Simm and enjoyed it immensely. He was 25 back then but barely look 18 *pervs*
He played a poor young thing with a fucked up life and some fucked up friends (Marc Warren FTW). I was all aaaaaw every 5 minutes.

My mother loved the first two episodes of Life on Mars, I think it remembers her of her youth. But she also seems to be very responsive to the Gene Genie's humor.

We saw License to Wed with fairy_bliss yesterday and loved it apart from Mandy Moore's character.
John Kras was unbearably cute as usual and a good half of the rest of the Office cast was in the movie XD

So I've been talking on the phone with angeliksmall and we realised that going to see John Simm play Elling is, in fact, achievable.

For one, I was totally sure that the play ended at the end of august but they're still playing until october 6. *slaps her bad fan self*

2. Beginning September 3 I won't be available during the week but there is performances on Saturday.

3. Paris-London : 3 hours. There's afternoon performances, which means that we can come and go back the same day and not worry about booking somewhere to stay at night. Plus it will be cheaper to take the Eurostar the same day.

4. I'm going to have my first salary at the end of September.

So seing John Simm next month ? Pfft actually EASAAAAY. *SQUEES*

Their was quite a lot of similarities with Life on Mars, surprisingly enough (no, that's not because I'm obsessed, Cookie and the bro agreed).

The buddy movie parody was so well done that the slash was nearly unbearable (Cookie and I almost broke a rib). EDIT : took me a sec to find a slashy com XD : sandfordpolice

I will never see a swan the same way again.

It's almost 4 in the morning and I just spent two hours and twenty six minutes on the phone with my dear ephyse drooling over John Simm. *facepalm*

She LOVED John Simm as the Master so much in Doctor Who that she snagged me the last three episodes to rewatch.

She LOVED him so much in Life on Mars (we saw the first two episodes) that she took the 2 seasons home with her.

We had a great teevee marathon and watched lots of good stuff :

We finished Doctor Who season 3 yesterday by 8h30 pm and it was so amazing to watch back to back ! We laughed out loud at all the slashiness and totally gushed over the Master at the same moments. He's so sexay and funny ! Oh and she loves Martha ! She can't choose between her and Rose anymore and understood completely where I was coming from with the Ten/Martha shipping. Cookie dear I heart you for this <3

We then watched Casino Royal last night and she was completely KILLED by Daniel Craig's hotness in it. I was delighted ^^

We finished the night on an episode of the Office US and went to sleep.

Today we watched the Confidentials for the last three episodes (full of Barrowman and Simm goodness) and the first two episodes of Life on Mars. She loved the show, unsuprisingly. We awwwwed at Sam's Woobieness and laughed a lot during the Sam/Gene scenes.

We had a fantastic time and for that, I forgive you darling for your stoopid hacking of my lj to spread your silly Rob Morrow love XD.


Today is John *OMGHESOWINSATACTING* Simm's birthday !
