OH BRADLEY, YOU PRECIOUS ADORKABLE GORGEOUS YOU.
Yes so I caught up with what I could found of Something For The Weekend with Bradley and Colin and they killed me with adorableness <333333333333
This weekend was delightfully Merlin themed and spent with my two lovelies,
tya_rc and
ephyse
Saturday was our epic trip to Castle Anachronism in Pierrefonds and it really is quite a bit magnificent ! I'll link to Tya's fine picspam because I'm lazy and she got the principal filming locations from the series covered. She should apparently be praised because she managed to do it with our scrutinity on her shoulders... Or something.
I put the rest of my pics and some of eph's in this gallery.
We had some troubles going there and back but they were seriously worth the effort.
We decided to accept Tya's invitation to stay at her place for the night to extend the Merlin squee with a group watching of 108 and it was, as expected made of complete win.
I don't have much to say about episode 8 mainly because I need to rewatch it to forge a definite opinion. I did like it even if it lacked some of the main things I watch the series for : Merlin/Arthur interactions and well, Arthur (Arthur'screentime this week was SO not enough, judging by me yelling 'YAH WELL GOOD BUT CAN IT BE ARTHUR TIEM NOW ?' at some point and my two fellow fangirls agreeing vigorously with that statement).
Then again I loved the darker tone and the story. It was also a great episode for the character of Morgana and I'm happy that she's getting increasingly more interesting.
Oh and I am totally shipping a new pairing now.
UTHER/MORGANA IS THE NEW BLACK.
That diner scene where he menacingly leans over her was insanely hot. Truly incredible chemistry, RIGHT THERE. Although we agreed that Morgana pretty much has chemistry with everyone, but nowhere nearly as hot as the interactions she had with Uther in that episode. GUH.
The 'Merlin stealing Arthur's key with magic' scene was amusing but went too far. I'm all for Arthur looking dim but let's not make him look full on retarded, shall we ?
Merlin's dilemna about the necessity of Mordred's sacrifice was fascinating and the scene where he was about to let Arthur and Mordred get caught was truly horrible. It was by far my favourite scene of the episode.
The clip of 109 shown during Something For The Weekend looks very promising and slashy. I'm sure it will make up for the cravings that were not meet by this week's episode.
I also converted the girls to Ashes to Ashes, from which we watched 2 episodes. It was unexpected and pleased me quite a lot, I must say. We finished the night by watching bits from old Merlin episodes and falling asleep with the telly still on, the three of us squeezed in a double bed. It was quite lulzy XD
Tya also acquainted us with the wonders of Annabelle the Sheep (I laughed til I cried) and we also read a fic together the next morning, with much giggling.
(Thank you again sweetie, for welcoming us to your lair <3)
All in all, it was a fine weekend indeed and I'm already looking forward to the next which will see me and eph going to england to see The Mighty Boosh live show in Brighton. HEEEEEEEE TEAM MB HERE WE COME.

on 2008-11-10 08:02 pm (UTC)Sorry to burst in but I can only agree. Colin is like a submissive puppy. I wish he were more on screen because he was looking freaking gorgeous but Bradley was very easy on the eyes.
Colin sneaking in beside Alesha was priceless like "hu hullo, what are you all doing, can I join?"
He IS adorable and seems so shy (or submissive, it's up to you :))
