True Blood has ended for the next 9 months *sadface*

I quite liked the finale but it could have been more epic overall !

Some scenes were extremely great, tho.

Sookie was unexpectedly very badass and had some of the best one liners from the ep.

Loved the Jessica/Hoyt and the Lafayette/Jesus scenes, adored ERIC hallucinating you know who, I hope he will again next year.

Crispy!Russell was awesome and I wanted to punch Beel in the face repeatedly. I liked what was revealed about his first meeting with Sookie, though.

ERIC is a class act no matter the situation (or the state of him), he's epic like that.

Day 29 - Whatever tickles your fancy

Here's an awesome Luke/Reid/Noah threesome vid that I can't stop watching since I found it. THE LOST OPPORTUNITIES ON THIS SHOW. IT BURNS.

Day 30 - if their story could be made into a new show, what would you have their first episode be about ? Who would you want carried over into the new show ?

The first episode would be about them moving in together, in an apartment we ACTUALLY SEE (that was my hope for the end of the show way back in december. I didn't want a wedding, I just wanted to see them moving in and maybe wake up together in the same bed once. Ha. Ha. Ha.).
I would want to keep Casey, Maddie, Lucinda and the Snyders in the new show. Maybe Winston and Damian could wreck havoc at some point. OR ZOMBIES.
Oh and it would air on HBO so Luke and Noah could have tons of hot onscreen sex :D

In fact I've been back for a few days now but between my massive intrawebz cath up, an afternoon at the movies yesterday (Chatroom with the always excellent Aaron Johnson <3) and a very nice party at

tya_rc's place last night, it didn't leave me much time to update sooner.

Ireland with

fairy_bliss was AN EPIC OF AWESOME EPICNESS. The Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher (where they shot the entrance of the cave in HP6) were incredibly gorgeous and Dublin was a fun city to visit. She took loads of pics but I haven't got them yet and I suspect I'll be too lazy to do a picspam when I'll do.

Things I caught up with which makes me *HAPPYFACE* :

True Blood had gay vampire sex in it involving ERIC ! UUUUUUUUUUUUNNNFFF. I approved.

I saw that the fandom was divided about Moriarty and I must say that I really liked him. I didn't expect him to be like this at all and I loved that he was weirdly creepy and somewhat cute at the same time (oh and FLAMING LIKE A FLAME THAT FLAMES. "I will buuuurn your heaaaart !". OKAY DUDE)

SHERLOCK AND JOHN'S LOVE FOR EACH OTHER IS A THING OF EXTREME BEAUTY. I watched some scenes over and over again before being able to go through it all.

Cucumberbitch pwns my soul. If he doesn't show up in my Who as the Master I will break the world's face, I will.

Oh and on a completely random note, I have weird ass Smallville cravings. I was going through old folders to find one of my old fics to send to

fairy_bliss (long story but we made each other lol a lot with our respective fics of yore) and I ended up clicking on some old Clex vids and I was like "wow Smallville, you were so very gay, I forgot how fabulous you were !" And the nostalgia hit full force. It was my very first slash pairing after all.
But I don't have time to watch Clexy episodes anyway rhaaaa. I need to get up to speed with my QaF and TLW marathon because of the french convention we're going to in october.

Day 06 - Least favorite Nuke moment

There's lot of ridic moments I can think of but the one bit that I can't get over is at the end of this otherwise extremely nice part when Noah drops the I enlisted bomb on his horny boyfriend. It pissed me off so fucking hard the first time that I wanted to throw my comp screen against the wall.

Day 07 - A moment that made you cry

First time they made me teary was their first breakup during the Ameera SL.
When Luke said "and you know what Noah ? I know from experience that it sucks and it hurts !". The delivery of that line gets me everytime. That's when I went 'oh ok Hansis, OKAY.' *worships*

Last time, I think, was the part where Noah comes to see Luke before his surgery for moral support and Luke hugs him without him asking because he just knows what he needs *sniffles*

So I watched True Blood last night and basically :

True Blood was so awesome ! I missed Bon Temps so so hard these last two weeks, felt so good to have my fix.

In the last couple of days I watched Bunny and the Bull and Boy A (with that cutie Andrew Garfield). The former was extremely charming with stunning visuals, excellent music and truly sad moments. It made me want to watch the Mighty Boosh again hard.
The later was also very good. Garfield (ah ! I love only using his last name) gave a brilliant performance and you *had* to root for his character, which made the film all the more heartbreaking ;___ ; .
I did a non spoilery picspam of the film here.

Apart from that, I M IN EXTREME TRUE BLOOD WITHDRAWAL. There was no episode this week due to that silly 4th of July. I AM DISAPPOINT. NEED MOAR VAMPIRE VIKING ERIC.

Also, next week is

nukebigbang which I'm REALLY excited about and... Oh hum there's this little thing this saturday when I get to meet Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann in the flesh. But so far, BRAIN KEEPS SHUTING DOWN when I dare think about it so... OMGIMGONNABEDEADBYTHEN.

True Blood is still LOVELY. I'm up to 301 and will catch up with all aired episodes tonight.

What can I say, mostly ERIC NORTHMAN, HAVE YOUR WICKED VIKING VAMPIRE WAYS WITH ME.

HOW SO FIERCE ? WHERE WERE YOU ALL MY LIFE ?

I also love other things in this show. I loved Lafayette who remains the cleverest, Jessica & Hoyt who are so damn cute, JASON who is amazing because he's both incredibly stupid and yet made of awesome, PAM and the vampire Queen who is FTW because she's a slasher. I don't really mind Sam who I don't care much for, Bill makes me laugh most of the time and Sookie has become way less annoying during the second half of season 2 and I don't really mind her either anymore. The only one I truly hate is Tara. GET RID OF THAT BITCH ALREADY KTHX.

Godric was MAGNIFICENT and his scenes with Eric made me flail multiple times into oblivion. Their rooftop scene had me in tears, twice ! At that moment I thought 'OMG True Blood you're all silliness, entertainment and gory fun and then you do this ! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD IT IN YOU SHOW I'M IMPRESSED.'

Anyway, I love this priceless show. Season 3 is off to a good start and this slashy scene will never not be completely hilarious. *hearts*

In other news, everyone has seen this but I NEED TO REPOST IT JUST BECAUSE :

He is one freakishly tall sex on a stick made of blondness and intimidating piercing eyes. Also his voice. Also, his comic timing.

So first of all Doctor Who had its most Epic first part of a finale ever. I watched it twice, I'm still not coherent about it and all I can say is that I've never wanted to be so spoiler free in my entire fannish life. I want my mind to get blowned the way the Moff intended it to be. In its own mystical time;
I hope (and I'm pretty confident) that he won't let me down with the last episode since I pretty much enjoyed the hell out of series 5. All of it. Some episodes were less awesome than others but there was always something memorable and epic or funny about each of them.
Also Matt, Karen and Arthur, be still my beating whovian heart.

I decided that I will do the TV meme that's been going round for a while to try and update more.

I started Caprica and it's very interesting and so pretty ! The opening credits alone are so frakking gorgeous.
It's very different from BSG in that it's more like a family drama (the atmosphere reminds me of Kings a little bit) but the actors are very good and the story of the cylons creation is quite clever and nicely done (I've only seen the first two eps).

I also randomly started to watch True Blood and I'm 7 episodes into the first season. Well that's not true, I got coerced by

jedicathy and

fairy_bliss' infectuous enthusiasm about it.

So far it's cliché and cracky, most of the characters make me lol unintentionally (Bale and Suckeh in particular are hilarious) and the gratuitous sex is quite mindboggling. So it's nothing to fuss about but it's pleasant to watch and I know that it will get crackier and awesomer with the next season (also, Eric). One good point though is that it totally helped me get over my hate of vampire stories since the Twatlight phenomena ruined the genre for me.
I'm also totally supporting Jake Silbermann's wish to get a role in that show now, especially if it involves nekkidness and bloodsucking (he already has the teeth and the abs for it, even :D).

Speaking of, last weekend was the ATWT wrap party and OH MAMA.
