rosengirl: (CM : Reid continuous pain)
♥♥♥OMFG ♥♥♥

Oh and also MUCHO *FLAIL* AND INCOHERENCY AHOY.

Screw protocol Reid's in trouble ! )

REID MAH HEART IT STOPS FOR YOU <3

Oh and awesomely creepy preview for next week was pretty awesome ♥

OMG NEXT WEEK IS THE TWO HOUR FINALE ALREADY. IT IS GOING TO BE SO EPIC COZ ALL THE CM FINALES SO FAR HAVE BEEN. I CAN HARDLY WAIT *SQUIRMS*
rosengirl: (FOTC : Bret & Jemaine are folkers)
The Boat That Rocked well... ROCKED.

Stunning cast (I knew about Chris O'Dowd but I had no idea that Katherine Parkinson was also on the crew ! As the adorable lesbian <3 IT Crowd actors FTW), especially Bill Nighy who's just fabulous and Jack Davenport for making Twatt somewhat cute as hell. Rhys Darby was complete love and Nick Frost was also awesome even if I still have issues whenever he or Simon aren't in a film together, irrational I know.
The film also had some very nice moments of eyecandy and a decent level of slash, which didn't hurt !

The characters were all endearing and the film made me grin from ear to ear (and die of laughing the rest of the time) the whole way through (shortest 2h15 evar, could have stayed longer). The soundtrack was obviously made of 57 flavours of win. We clapped at the end along with the rest of the theater.

Definitely one of the top films of the year.

Richard Curtis ILU.

In other news, I just saw the finale of Dollhouse and all I have to say is ASKDMALDJAMLSDJASDLAJDAMDJASMLDJADMSLSDJA.

I am very sad to see this one go after such an AMAZING last episode.
Alan Tudick will remain in my top 3 teevee psychos as Alpha, OF ALL TIME. I ADORE HIM EVEN MORE NOW THAN I DID AS WASH IN FIREFLY OR AS THE STONED DUDE IN DEATH AT A FUNERAL. HE IS MINDBLOWING AND MIGHTY.
Also they totally redeemed the character of Tahmoh with the last couple of scenes of the episode. PAUL WAS MADE OF COMPLETE WIN AT THE END, there, I said it.
I hope we'll be able to see ep 113 someday and that it won't leave things as open as this one did.

I can't believe how good that show had become. I will miss you, show <3
rosengirl: (CM : idk my bff Garcia ?)
This week's telly was mostly good.

Here's what I recollect from my thoughts about it

How I met Your Mother )

The Big Bang Theory )

Ashes to Ashes )

House md )

Supernatural )

Criminal Minds )

And also I WANT TO BE NEXT WEEK ALREADY BECAUSE IT HAS THIS :

I saw that most people were annoyed about it happening yet again but I'll admit that I can't get enough of Reid in peril because it was the reason that got me into the show after all.
Yes, I'm horrible like that.

About my last tweets, I may have reacted a tad strongly to the latest DW (as in DOCTOR WHO to avoid confusion :p) spoilers and I'm now much more resolved about it. It still annoys me and I have fear but I want to enjoy the regen specials so damn hard that I have to stop thinking about what could go horribly wrong and piss me off.

Oh and like the title of my post suggested, I did rewatch Love Actually earlier mostly because I'm seing The Boat That Rocked with [livejournal.com profile] tya_rc tomorrow and it had been a while but it still makes me grin like a loon and cry happy tears from beginning to end. I love that film like precious tasty pie.

Off to procrastinate some more on Gublerland ♥ Am currently rewatching the unauthorized documentaries, he's such a gigantic dork ♥
rosengirl: (Dollhouse : Victor/Sierra teh OTP)
WOW.

WOW.

It pains me so very much that there's little chance that the show will see a second season BECAUSE THAT EPISODE WAS SO INCREDIBLY INTENSE AND SPECTACULAR !

SPOILARZ )

I'm obviously dying for next week and am completely sorry for myself to have become so much invested in a show that is supposedly soon to be dead, bleh. It will once again be completely unfair and upsetting.
rosengirl: (House : Wilson high for great lulz !)
DUDE.

THIS WEEK'S TELLY IS KILLING ME. KILLING ME DEDEDED.

HOUSE *WILD HAND GESTURES* I MEAN HOUSE THIS WEEK OMFG. I CANNOT EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR THE EPISODE EXCEPT THAT GETTING MARRIED IS THE LAST THING I WOULD WANT BUT I WOULD SO DO IT JUST TO HAVE HOUSE THROW ME A BACHELOR PARTY, I MEAN ESPECIALLY... )

THE BIG BANG THEORY WAS MORE AVERAGE GOOD BUT I TOTALLY HAVE TO MENTION THIS )

AND FINALLY, THIS WEEK'S HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, SERIOUSLY, I MEAN SERIOUSLY DID I IMAGINE THAT EPISODE OR WHAT ?

BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST EPISODE EVER. I WAS OVERWHELMED BY THE SLASH, IT WAS SO VERY SLASHY AND 100% LEGENDARY.

Phfew.

That's a lot of capslock but it was necessary to get that of my chest. I may squeal some more with my weekly dose of Guv Luv in a moment.

As for SF Sunday with just a tiny bit more of details, [livejournal.com profile] fairy_bliss posted some delicious pics of James Callis and Jamie Bamber in her lj here.
She only saw them from the outside since she hadn't caught up with the show yet but I can tell you that the talk on stage with the three of them was made of 57 flavours of win. They were all completely sweet and had some great things to say about their fellow cast members (especially Edward James Olmos who really seemed like their surrogate father on and off set) and gave great insights on their respective characters on the show. Jamie surprised the hell out of us because he did the whole talk in french ! He apparently learned to read and write in Paris and he spoke almost flawlessly during the whole thing (yes, it was teh Hawt, Mary also thought so and said so XD).
James Callis'voice continues to melt my panties. His smooth posh brit accent is exactly the same than when he played Gaius and, OH BOY. Hilariously enough, it was melting my brother's panties too (he didn't phrase it like that, no, but I could tell that's what he meant) James was absolutely charming and funny in a complete debonaire fashion. Exactly how I'd imagined he would be except even more gorgeous *___*
They kept restraining themselves from talking about the finale because supposedly the room had not seen it (except that 99.9% of it had, the 0.1% being [livejournal.com profile] jedicathy) but Jamie had the sense at one point to say 'what the hell we've all seen it' because they were trying to talk about the most powerful moments they kept from the shooting and they all had to hint at their last scenes.
Finally they received a Jules Vernes Award each and we were shown the opening episode of season 4 on the gigantic screen of the Rex theater. Let's just say that I had stars in my eyes because the show translates beautifully on the big screen. The bro and I exchanged glances and melancholic whispers when certain characters appeared on screen. Gaius and his harem killed me with lulz all over again. It sure gave me the urge to watch the show all over again from the very beginning. I'll probably end up doing that this summer.

Then [livejournal.com profile] fairy_bliss, [livejournal.com profile] angeliksmall, [livejournal.com profile] tya_rc and [livejournal.com profile] castalie joined us for the Star Trek french premiere and it also was ORSUM. Part of my brain was with the other half forced to stay at home because of a bad cold (that would be the lovely [livejournal.com profile] ephyse), but my heart was 100% PWNED by the film.

some ramblings about the film )
rosengirl: (CM : Reid/Morgan hey pretty boy)
First of all let me express my Epic Love for [livejournal.com profile] dresden_doll_01, for taking my suggestion and making this :

AWESOMELY PRETTY PICSPAM OF TEH ELEVATOR SCENE.

Favourite. Gratuitous!hilarious!random scene. Ever.

I am obviously still completely obsessed and devoted to the hardcore drug that is Criminal Minds and am currently watching the first half of season 4 (precisely up to Memoriam which was... I CANNOT EXPRESS MY GLEE LOUD ENOUGH OVER REID'S DADDY ISSUES, TO BE HONEST.)

I *adored* season 3, I think it was the most steadily good season and it had so many memorable scenes and episodes in it.
I loved the way Gideon's departure was handled and I loved having to slowly warm up to Rossi because they made him so unlikeable in the first couple of episodes. It was also a good idea to wait a few episodes in between and see the team working by themselves.
Scared to Death was incredibly creepy and Seven Seconds deliciously fucked up <3
Lucky/Penelope made me fangirl Garcia harder and would have converted me to Morgan/Garcia if I wasn't already OTPing all over their sweet asses since season 1 (BUT I also do love Garcia/Kevin because Nicholas Brendon is rocking the sweet geeky look like nobody's business and they make the cutest couple of hackers evar <3).
True Night was mesmerising and Frankie Muniz surprised THE HELL OUT OF ME in that one. I loved the comic book style of the photo, it was all very Sin City-like.
I will not gush too much over Elephant's Memory because it was yet another 'let's make Reid connect with the unsub, put himself in danger and make the rest of the team worried about and/or mad at him (for getting them so worried)' so it made me squee into oblivion for obvious reasons.
I also loved the case in the finale and the following Hotch angst in 401/402. I do love myself some woobie!Hotch and there was plenty in season 3 with his family issues.
Memorable scenes included the aforementioned elevator scene, Reid traumatized by his fail at the end of 3rd Life, Reid and Hotch stuck with the unsub about to be executed in Damaged (OMFG to how they both reacted to the situation <33333) and Morgan and Hotch's fight in the finale (there was so much UST that they were about to jump each other and roll on the floor :D).
I am probably forgetting many more things but really, a big thumb up for season 3.

Season 4 is so far excellent : Bloody!fainting!Hotch, Reid taken hostage *again*, Emily mostly pwning and being awesome and win and I LOVE HER and almost 2 Reid centric episodes already(with lots of sleepy!Reid which is a sight to behold. Even when he's distraught by nightmares. Weeeell especially when he's distraught by nightmares and calling Morgan in sheer terror. *DIES*).

CM related ETA (I know right, like I haven't babbled enough already) : I totally forgot to say that early!s3 Reid's hair was the best ever for me. It was the perfect length and had those beautiful curls things at the ends and YUM PRETTEY. I know I shouldn't anymore because he does this every season but I was SO SHOCKED when he cut his hair so short in the beginning of season 4, probably because it was so long by the end of season 3. Yet I was sold because you know, Morgan got to be all adorable about it and play with it ♥

ANYWAY.

Tomorrow will be remembered has SCI-FI SUNDAY because I am attending THIS and THIS.

\o/

I cannot get my head around teh AWESOMENESS of seeing DS Matt Devlin and HIS INGLORIOUS BASTARDOUS AWESOMELY MAGNIFICENT GAIUS BALTAR in da flesh. Hum... I mean Jamie Bamber and the probably very-nice-and-not-dodgy-at-all James Callis.

And WOOOHOOO STAR TREK ! Hope it's as slashy as we're hoping for (Wolverine-level of slashy would be nice) and that Simon Pegg has more than 5 minutes of screentime.
rosengirl: (DW : Master timeschmexx)
It was a little bit awesome.

No.

IT WAS MADE OF 57 FLAVOURS OF AWESOMELY AWESOME WIN AND FUN AND EPIC THINGS.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY BECAUSE I DIED AND WE WATCHED THAT BIT 5 TIMES )

OMFGISOCANNOTWAITFORTHENEXTONEIWILLBEDEDBYNOVEMBER.
rosengirl: (House : H/W you totally are)
I was dangerously close to have no squee left for House (I know, so sad !) but then this week's episode happened and I LOVED IT TO DEATH <333

WILSON was here the whole way through, CHECK. (and killing me with cuteness)

House and Wilson having several scenes together, CHECK.

And by that I mean... )

Conclusion : House/Wilson forever and ever, amen.

Next episode's case looks very promising, too bad we'll have to wait two weeks for it now.
rosengirl: (Merlin : M/A like you could hide it *sno)
The Merlin extras, man ♥
They made me fall in love with the cast all over again ! They definitely make the sweetest, most fun and easy going cast ever, by the look of it.
Colin was adorable, BRADLEY just totally and *utterly* priceless and Katie surprised me in a very good way.
I just loved when Colin controls planes with magic and when Bradley fake!bullies him. They all seem to get on so well <3

The No Heroics extras were also all kinds of GREEEEAAAT.
The creator of the series is a ginormous comics geek and about 16015344356 comics references were hidden in the Fortress, which they all listed here. He was mostly inspired by Watchmen

The making of showed yet another fun crew of lovely people but I'm afraid there's a very final feel to it. They took down the Fortress set halfway through shooting (I yelled ' OH NO !') and they showed the last day the actors were all together and they did an emotional group hug.
Ah well, it will be another one of those extremely short english masterpieces, like Nathan Barley ;__;

The bloopers were funny and the Power Hour interviews were *hilarious* especially the Excelsior one and the Timebomb one XD
Timebomb has also 2 extended scene, one with Fusebox in the toilets (filthier) and one with the Prince in the limo (just LULZ).

Ah Timebomb <3

I also watched Dollhouse and here are my mixed feelings about it )

I am willing to stick with it until it's cancelled to give it the chance to find its tone, though, because it wasn't completely horrible.
rosengirl: (Being Human : Mitchell profession acting)
Being Human 102 ? STILL AWESOME.

I am definitely falling in love ! )

Is it next monday sunday yet ?

Tonight there's also the awesomeness of Matt Smith and Shaun Parkes pairing up to fight crime in the new series Moses Jones, on BBC2.

The story, told over three 60-minute episodes, begins when a wave of violence hits London following the discovery of the bizarrely mutilated body of a man in the Thames.
First appearances suggest a witchcraft killing. But the dark reality is more complicated – and even more frightening.
Assigned to the case is young, hopeful DS Dan Twentyman (Matt Smith) and his senior partner DI Moses Jones (Shaun Parkes), seconded from Scotland Yard due to cultural links with the local community.
But, confronted by a wall of silence, Jones and Twentyman become increasingly confused as they grapple with the various complexities.

*knowing smirk*

I am definitely watching that.

Shaun Parkes sure loves a bit of Tiemcock.
rosengirl: (SPN : Castiel)
MAGICIANS AND A LEATHER DADDY.

A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SPN, you just won me back after last week's suckiness.

OMG LOOK WHO IT IS !! Supernatural 4x12 - Criss Angel is a Douchebag )
rosengirl: (HIMYM : Barney/Robin BWZUH ??)
I didn't have much time for updates this week, mostly due to dull school work and awesome japanese restaurant night yesterday with a bunch school buddies.

I fell down some stairs for the second time in three weeks earlier today. I don't know what it means for me and 2009 but I can't say we're getting off to good start. Oh and I just can feel that my back and leg will have giant bruises and I'm leaving on sunday for a week long school trip of skiing and mock exams (in the middle of nowhere, the coldest part of France and with like, dorms and 3 showers for 40 people. But we should be grateful that the showers have doors, apparently. Joy.) Perfect timing. It would be so hilarious if I was on a roll and break a leg after one day, or something. /sarcasm

My week was fortunately saved by good telly watching.

How I met your mother 4x13 - Three Days of Snow )

House 5x12 - Painless )

I've also watched the Sunday Night Project with Catherine Tate, SO FUNNEY. I highly recommend it (there's DW jokes and hilarious camp sketches, as usual). I'm so smitten with that wonderful redhead ! I do not know how she can alway be so amazing, but she is.
I'm also currently in an Alan Carr kick since I read his highly entertaining autobiography (and spending hours on youtube watching some bits of his stand ups over and over) so it was twice as great.

Oh and [livejournal.com profile] fairy_bliss, I finally watched IT, and am officially BLOWN. AWAY. BY HIS SKILLS. His take on South Park and the Fresh Prince are incredible

*Grobanite*

ETA : [livejournal.com profile] jedicathy, I have seen the first 2 episodes of Junjou Romantica and just... XD That's completely what I was expecting. (expect maybe the impressive level of funny!disturbing of Usami which is amusing me to no end XD)
rosengirl: (Derren Brown dark thoughts)
*EMO TEAR*

So it's been a hell of a rollercoaster ride. I started watching it properly last year then stopped around season 4 and watched the last 2 seasons after having converted my dear [livejournal.com profile] ephyse last month.

I laughed, I cried, I squirmed, I squeed, I sweared, I sweared A LOT and then, I sweared some more. TWAS FANTASTIC.

spoilerish comments )

*Puts on her Bainbridge 'tache* I don't want to end on a down note. Here's a song :

Single. Greatest. Scene. Ever. Y/Y ?
rosengirl: (DW : Next Doc Ten cockblocked lolz)
Oh god I think it was even BETTER the second time.

All hail the christmassy dramatic cracklulz of this episode )

All in all I cannot tell for sure if this beat the Christmas Invasion in my heart yet but it's definitely a tie.

Oh and kuddos to the Confidential to have focused the Blackpool bits on the Tennant/Morrissey tango (hehehe). How I loved DT's smugness about it XD
rosengirl: (Merlin : Arthur killing me with gorgeous)
Aaaaw it's finished ! I can't believe we'll have to wait almost whole yearfor the next series D:

Merlin 113 - Le Morte d'Arthur )

ROCK ON SERIES 2.
rosengirl: (Merlin : Uther/Morgana is the new black)
Merlin was superb last night.

They are fantastic at crack but I really have a thing for the darker episodes.

I'm reviewing this from memory so I may forget a ton of stuff.

Merlin 112 - To Kill A King )

I knew the title of the finale so I wasn't completely surprised by what the trailer shown us but OMFG DOES IT LOOK EPIC AND AWESOME. AND AZPSADJPOASDJA EPIC & AWESOME.

Btw, am I the only one who find that Merlin saying 'friend' when speaking of Arthur sounds completely weird ?

Also, Read more... )

THE IT CROW 303 OMFG !!!!!!!!!!

I had never laughed this hard since the series 2 opener !

especially the bit when )

XD

TWAS SO AWESOME \o/

______________________

Am still completely obsessed with IAMX and incapable of listening to anything else at the moment.

I must have watched their President video around 15 times now ♥♥♥
rosengirl: (IT Crowd : Roy disabled !)
Spent a wonderful day with [livejournal.com profile] ephyse and [livejournal.com profile] jedicathy. The usual : eating deliiiiiicious maki at our favourite japanese restaurant and hanging out at Starbucks. We also went to see Changeling and did a wee bit of shopping afterwards.

Changeling was fantastic even if it was also quite depressing and hard to watch. Angelina Jolie is marvellous in that part and did a really great job at making you feel her character's pain.
I was sucked into the story from beginning to end. It was all that you can expect from your usual Eastwood film.

Eph and I squeed A LOT on the Boosh. We talked about a certain awesome Noelian fic that she linked to me yesterday and even retold it to cath so she wouldn't be left out of teh squee (she didn't seem to care a lot but she loled :p). We also went on and on about last night's IT Crowd episode. Episode which I thought would be a good idea to watch in the train this morning. In public. OMG IT SO WAS NOT.

To my credit...babble about the IT Crowd 302 )

Then again I should have known something was up with this episode when [livejournal.com profile] ephyse sent me a text this morning to threaten me of ignoring me all day if I hadn't seen it before our meet up.

During the bit of shopping, eph pointed me out all the shoes and bits of clothing which reminded her of Noel Fielding and I couldn't stop giggling. It's so easy to please a fangirl's brain it's a little scary.

Ephyse also went to great lengths to remake Camelot, Arthur and Excalibur with bits and pieces of Starbucks cups. The people who sat after us didn't seem impressed but it was for epic lulz.

And that's my transition to say that TIS MERLIN NIGHT. And I haven't seen an episode alone since 106 but I am STILL RATHER EXCITED. Maybe even more by Unicorn lulz than my weekly dose of Epic Gay (which has already been provided, THANK YOU IT CROWD.)
rosengirl: (David T. gorgeous autumn)
Just got a fix of Tennant and Simm and can I just say OMGYUSPLZ. I tend to forget how bloody *amazing* they both are.

Einstein and Eddington exceeded my expectations, everything about it was so awesome ! David is such a talented actor that he never fails to blow me away with each new role.

The story was wonderful and fascinating. Two men struggling to change everybody's worldview despite the war raging on was indeed very interesting. It was even better since both characters were given tremendous performances by the two actors involved.

Eddington was so effing loveable ! What with all the cuteness, the nerdiness, the shyness and the incredible intelligence. Of course he broke my wee little heart because of minor unexpected plot point about the character )

Serkis was also magnificent as Einstein and I loved how he played him.
The scene where they finally met was very powerful and almost made me tear up again.

[livejournal.com profile] th_esaurus made a pretty picspam of one of my favourite scene here.

I watched the first episode of the Devil's Whore next and OMFG GORGEOUSNESS ALL AROUND. The photography, for one, is breathtaking and John OWNS the 17th century look hard.

Now, Sexby was ugly only if ugly means HOT LIKE BURNING. I don't know what they tried to achieve with the costume and makeup but it is the *opposite* of ugly in my book.

Also................ Did he work out ?? Because I can't remember him looking this good shirtless in... Ever. Guh.

I know very little about that historical period of England so it was a bit confusing sometimes. I will have to watch it again with subs.
But I loved what I saw and next week looks especially good !

I bring you a picspam of the epic gorgeousness that was the first ep.

Prettiness all around )

I just recieved the series 4 boxset of DW and I take back my disappointment about the lack of originality of the design because it is FTW !
You have Ten&Donna on one side, Davros on the other, and then it comes off and you have Ten, Donna and Jack on one side, and Sarah Jane, Rose and Martha on the other !
The series 4 guide inside has some pretty pics and drawings that I never saw before.
It makes me want to rewatch some episodes very hard, despite the fact that I have 6176387 shows to catch up with already. I will watch the bonus tonight, at least.

Wheeee.

Oh and everything has been said about last night's Merlin (which I had the chance to watch have a synchronized stroke with my lovely [livejournal.com profile] tya_rc) but I must declare that the mutual dressing scene may be my all time favourite scene since the beginning because THEY ARE SO EQUALS.
Of course, I can't seem to get over Arthur's foot in Merlin's face either so it's a tough one.
rosengirl: (House : H/W you totally are)
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how they manage to do *this* everytime... But just ♥

House 1x07 - The Hitch )

I wasn't really holding my breath for this one but it turned out to be unexpectedly funny and lovely.

I love you, show ♥

I am behind on every other US shows, for shame. I don't know if I will be able to catch up with them before going away this friday D:
rosengirl: (Merlin : Arthur royal profile)
No I am not Merlin squeeing 24/7 I had some things I totally forgot to write about because no, I am not Merlin squeeing 24/7 *coughs*

So first of all, let's talk about Alias season 3 ! I had stopped my Alias marathon 4 episodes in because I had a sudden urge to rewatch Kaamelott from the beginning, which is so not related to That Obsession in any way.
Right, so I've started Alias again and despite the obligatory suspension of belief that is necessary to go through the show starting with this season and my burning hatred of pre!evil!Lauren (which I didn't know I still had) IT IS TEH GREAT !

And speaking of the awesome list of classy guest stars the show had, I totally remembered the earlier ones like Quentin Tarantino, Roger Moore, Faye Dunaway, Ethan Hawke, Rutger Hauer and Christian Slater but I had completely forgotten about David Cronenberg and Isabella Rosselini in season 3 ! Of course by this season I was WTFing so often that I didn't remember much of the plot either. I also completely blanked out Quentin Tarantino's comeback but then I remembered him going on and on about the prettiness of Sark's hair and I was all "OMG HOW COULD I FORGET THAT SCENE WHERE HE COMPLIMENTS HIM ABOUT HIS HAIR. THIS IS SO AWESOME". And of course Lauren stopped being annoying the second she started killing people and making out with Sark.
All of this to say that Alias season 3, compared to monstrosities commited by other shows is 200% superior to the memory of fail I had of it.
It's a bit ironic really, since this season's theme is about memory loss, lulz.

So apart from the lastest episode of Merlin WHICH WAS MADE OF 57 FLAVOURS OF WIN, saturday has been a mighty fine fanturday indeed for the highly entertaining values of Quantum of Solace and the ABSOLUTE BRILLIANCE that was the end of Dead Set.

Quantum was admitedly less good than Casino Royale but Daniel Craig is definitely the Hottest Bond of Them All simply because his version is all kind of fucked up. There's nothing more appealing to my eyes than a character with huge psychological and emotional issues and he was the main interest of the film cut for mild spoilers )

I watched the finale episode of Dead Set with [livejournal.com profile] jedicathy and [livejournal.com profile] angeliksmall and I must say that as a whole, this series left me impressed ! I was expecting a vaguely cracky but average zombie story when I first started watching it but I was surprised by how great the writing and acting ended up to be. It even got a great review from zombie expert Simon Pegg (apart from the nitpick which I found very cute ♥) !!!1!!11
I also did not expect them to go there for the ending and I was immensely pleased by it. Bonus points for the Doctor Who mention in the penultimate episode <3

Speaking of I am in love with the Doctor Who series 4 soundtrack ! All the songs from Turn Left are particulary brilliant, especially A Dazzling End which reminds me vividly of Donna's finest moment everytime I listen to it (OH DONNA.)and I also adore Song for Captivity and Freedom because it never fails to give me chills.
I also love the VOTD suite which is a bit lulzy since I despise the actual episode.

It really brings back nice series 4 memories and makes me want to see some episodes again.

Now to make my post title not accurate in the least, I should also thank [livejournal.com profile] tya_rc for pointing us to the failed pilot of Dis/Connected which we also ended up watching on saturday night. Why ? Well not for the fact that the pilot in itself is complete rubbish, but for the only reedeeming quality which is THIS )

That's right, IT HAS BRADLEY JAMES PLAYING A HUGE MANWHORE WHO SHOULD REALLY BE UNLIKABLE BUT IS BOTH HILARIOUS AND HOT AS HELL INSTEAD. ILHIM SO HARD. Thank god it was never picked up though, THANK GOD FOR ARTHUR.

Oh and it also has Clyde from sja as an obnoxious chav who turns out to be A GAY INNA CLOSET. THIS WAS A BIT WIN AS WELL.
But the rest sucked and there was not enough of the both of them. Incidently, I seem to have kept it anyway. x______x

I've also capped the hell out of 107 but AM TOO DISTRACTED TO GET ON WITH THE ICONING PART ALREADY.

And this fanturday, we're going to the Pierrefonds Castle with [livejournal.com profile] ephyse and [livejournal.com profile] tya_rc. TEEHEE FRENCH!CAMELOT. I cannot wait for our first taste of Merlin's Excellent Adventures (you have no idea how lost Pierrefonds is XD At least we consider ourselves lucky that we don't have to spend much on a fannish trip for a change. Not that we already have plans to go there and have a look at the series 2 shooting when they come back next year, AT ALL.)

(btw I am not especially bored but this mood theme has Colin Morgan in it, therefore my non obsessive self was compelled to use it \o/)
